You sir, will proberly be among top players in 1-1.5kk score when you get there. Since you are one of the few that are slowly progressing upwards.
If eveyone pushes in the easy week, the better guys will still have a higher r. io score than the other ones.
This concept is not that hard to get. It doesnt matter in which weeks you get your score as its a equal playing field for everyone. And easy weeks happen like every 3-4 weeks. So sorry, but it really doesnt affect what i said.
You may be the same player. But you are someone that did higher dungeons than your previous self did and therefore slowly accumulated experience. Thats why we got a score to show randoms if we are capable for what they intend to do instead of relying on titanforged warfront items to inflate your ilvl.
No, you won’t be the same player. Experience matters a lot. The more you play your class generally, the better you will be at it, especially if you play it in situations that are pushing you to optimize. In dungeons, you will f…k up once, twice, but to move forward you will have to learn. You will learn what the mobs do, which are worth focusing, which are worth interrupting etc. If you will not become better, you will just hit a brick wall eventually, or just rely on being carried - which also eventually hits a brick wall.
By no stretch of imagination you will not be the same player.
While i do agree experience always helps, i do not think i am now different than when my char was 300. It is just a hit or miss with the group (not complaining about players ‘bad’ or something). But 1 time you do a dungeons 11 minutes in time, then you do the same dungeon out of time. I have not changed. Or in your words, i am even better, but now i do exactly the same dungeon on the same level out of time. So i got worse over time?
And of course; i am struggling to get my raiderio score up in dungeons i have done already months ago on my resto shaman, also on a healer. So i know the damage patterns already. Except now i have my one and only CD, ascendance, on a 15 second CD instead of 3 minutes. And on top of it more CD’s available.
My KR +7 in time was even with 3 players between 140 and 250 raiderio. That is apparently impossible by the raiderio fanatics.
Edit: Posted on the wrong char.
The improvement curve is not necessarily linear. A person can stumble in a less good group, it can be less equipped for certain affixes or it simply can have a bad or tired or unfocused day.
It’s not, it’s just less probable.
I see a lot of people complaining that rio can’t measure skill with certainty. Well, nothing can. Sure, like somebody said, you can look for people’s logs, and that is more accurate, but same time impractical.
What the addon does is tell you a probability. It is more likely that a higher score person will do better than a lower one, but it doesn’t mean a low score person can never perform, neither does it mean that a high score person will be best. One could be a good player that just plays on a high pop server at the end of reset and his runs were never recorded, and the other could be just boosted - and there are more reasons why this could be like it is. Nothing is guaranteed, you just get a better probability.
Still crying because people choose to not play with you guys ?
Yes, I wake up and before work I start with 15 minutes crying. Then during lunchbreak I go to the toilet for another cry-moment. When I come home the stress is so high that immediately I break down and start crying for 30 minutes. I have no dinner, since not hungry in this state. Then I start up my PC but before it is started up, despite my ssd, I cry again. And I just go to bed and cry myself to sleep.
I think raising my r_io score is the most fun content BfA has right now actually. And it’s an external service, so that’s pretty funny/ironic.
W-well yeah, you’re a rogue! You get invited everywhere!
So then you don’t have actually have a problem with r_io, but rather the dips*its behind class design.
I honestly feel bad for half the playerbase. Do you main a class that got the short end of the stick in terms of class design? Well, too bad. Wait for 4 months until the next patch before we allow you to enjoy the game again :^)
