Raiders would rather play TBC than SL

Can you please stop twisting my words to try and make me look a fool and that i am only intrested in retail .
All i said and i repeat that its the same few players week after week slateing the game .

All 3 versions have some really good aspects and i love all 3 games BUT
all 3 versions have glaring issues but to relentless carry on about it in multi threads i am sorry its annoying .

U can’t speak for everyone becouse i sit almost 24/7 and i got loads of content all the time in retail, there is always something to do in retail if u really like the game

don’t really understand how you got the idea that i am in anyway twisting your words…

you said yourself you think the 6 month sub is okay.

You are now cherry picking and really starting to annoy me so i best just leave the thread saying what i really said .

Do not know why you have to be so cherry picking all the time and change words to fit your narrative and you call yourself honest .

you still said 6 months is okay… initially… regardless of not having the money or not…

im not cherry picking simply replying to what you said.

I bid you good night as its obvious you wish to carry on getting a rise out of me which you want the last word so have fun doing it so .
Still saying that all 3 games are fun with flaws but slating retail all the time is not healthy but go ahead have last word  night night .

the way you said it … if you were not saving for more important things right now, you would potentially still be paying for the 6 months because to you it is okay to do that…

and like i said before that… it is entirely within your right to do so and i dont care if you do. doesnt mean i think it is the right move though.

not twisting or cherry picking anything no matter how much you would like to try and spin it.

EDIT: just SMH really… i thought u were generally better than that… nvm.

Denathrius in my opinion is too GOOD character to be killed off
And i saw a new cinematic on wowhead so maybe they will do something with him later

Not just maybe but they will. Otherwise what happened in 9.1 wouldnt have happened. Blizzard also stated that he will remain a returning Villain. Probably all the way until the Void xpac.

Why could that be? Maybe because TBC is the superior expansion in every way possible? TBC is an exceptionally good expansion and Shadowlands is the exact opposite. The expansion is pretty much over at this point and retail is on the brink of death.

You can either play the garbage version until it’s completely wiped out or play the better game right now. Your choice.

sad thing is i was on retail earlier for a hour in orgrimmar… and i started talking about my dislikes of the expansion in the general chat… i was expecting people to step up talk me down and disprove me … so i could give myself reason that i was wrong about it…

reality was they all agreed with me … and were equally just as unhappy with retail as i was…

sad times indeed.

As someone playing TBC Classic it does not feel player enjoyment orientated. It is easier to get a group for content in Retail. Meta slaves everywhere. No tanks. Hours of trying to put a group together for a heroic. I’m beyond frustrated at this point.

The attunement is a nightmare, people moan about gating in Retail. Well TBC is so much worse. Definitely not alt friendly. The dungeons are not very balanced at heroic level

On the whole I’m having fun but the group content block is frustrating. These issues just don’t exist on Retail. Endless spamming in an LFG channel that is so fast moving you need an add-on to filter it into a readible format. If you are melee (like me) you are often ignored by any group you whisper to join.

I’m getting to see the raids with my guild, they haven’t been too hard so far. More in line with Normal so far.

Retail feels far more player orientated but I guess that depends on what that means to you.

There are of course things in SL which are a pain and not enjoyable. I just don’t see Classic as some glorious solution.

nah. Retail folk just let you live in peace with whatever opinion you got.
Some classic boyoz seem to be those religious “knock at your door” guys and Excuse me. Do you have a moment to talk about how great TBCC and Classic is? And how bad retail is?

I am not that desperate to prove how retail is bad or good to you. Like it = play it. Don’t like it = play something else. Simple no? :man_shrugging:

ofc classic TBC wont be good…

the generation of people are too used to how modern wow works…

TBC in the days it was designed for i was referring to, people of that time were much more social and happy to spend time to achieve things… they didnt expect things to just fall on their lap with little effort like most people do today. and for that reason along tbc back in the day was perfect and so much better than modern SL imo.

When 9.1 is out , TBC will die , some people are already full gear lol

You can’t play as a monk in TBC soooo…

What even are you on about lmao.
Im not one to defend retail for being perfect, far from it as it has many maaaany flaws.

But saying that retails everything " falls onto your lap " compared to TBC is precisely the one thing where it’s the complete opposite lol.

Mythic raiding requires dedication as well as good player skills in order to complete it. Even now after months of people farming easy 226 gear from the vault and the several nerfs to slg/denathrius new guilds still wipes hundreds of times and give up on it.

TBC on the other hand is quite simply : just make it through the level grind, farm dungeon X or Y 200 times for your bis slot and then go kill the raid boss which has mechanics even a 3 years old toddler could deal with.

i feel the same … but it was beyond just whatever opinion… they were going further and expressing their own concerns and peeves with the expansion…

things which i didn’t even bring up.

For the majority TBC feels better for sure bcs the game is not hard , and bad players still can have the best gear in the game and feels good ^^

i was referring to the getting groups aspect and social side punyelf was talking about… not anything related to gearing in general… the way getting groups worked… in tbc worked for the period of time it was out…

and equally wont in todays market because of how complacent people have become with the modern version.
