Killed him twice now without priest in the raid. I highly doubt that you were able to kill HC LK.

I would have to agree with you. I am quickly growing bored of Season of discovery and it is entirely the fault of the community.
It was noticeable long before hitting level 25 and looking to run BFD. People soft and hard reserving items in WC or SFK (hahaha). People making demands on certain runes and specs people should have for running levelling dungeons (LOOOL).
People actively crying, when you try to recruit people in global channels for quests such as ‘the Den’ because 'that reward is not your BiS". People trying to min max gold by telling you NOT to do professions and instead to do quests at level 25 because you get over 1G a quest. Not realizing they’ll all be competing for the same tags come cap increase because they did all the quests already.
And of course, BFD, which I haven’t even done yet because honestly? If I have ran WC 40 times and not got leggings of the fang as my “pre-bis” (LOL) then I am not “geared” enough for BFD to pass “inspect checks” then I wont bother at all.
I enjoyed coming back to wow for classic on Firemaw, ofc there is inflation and GDKP there but like true classic it is very casual friendly. SoD feels like retail, aimed at the sweats and min maxers who cannot even interact socially to respond to a /tell.
It has not been the casual fun server promised

I mean, it is a great advice.
You get around 200+ Gold give or take this way in a matter of like 2 days, that is a lot of gold for Classic.
You will have to farm some mobs to level 25-40 to compensate? Oh no… Guess what - you’d do this at 40 cap too and then by level 60 you will end up with money to insta buy epic mount the moment you ding.
Also, the mats you harvest that sell now for ridiculous prices, will cost nothing down the road, so it’s pure profit to just dump them and then buy them back for a fraction of the cost to level professions down at 60.
I don’t see, of all things to do, how that is sweaty.
It’s obviously Living Flame, because that’s where that type of people went.

It’s hilarious to me, I’ve watched the same guy spam in world chat for the last 3 hours trying to find a healer for his BFD run, because it has to be a priest and he has to have a very specific setup to be allowed in.
All this is an effort to make the raid not last as long, not realising of course that if he just settled for any other type of healer he would be done by now.
Or his team would crumble at 6th boss and left with a dead lockout.
Healer choice is probably most important, because they can carry that boss if DPS are too bad to do their job P2. And priest right now is by far the best healer in BFD.

It is only good advice if you are happy to grind mobs, which you clearly are as you state in your own post. A lot of people doing this are just following the “good advice” from min maxxers and have no idea they will be spending a few levels grinding in the next phase.
It’s one of the reasons I haven’t done the raid yet. The LFM messages in chat makes it look like it’s full blown raiding experience.
I wonder how difficult it is. Is it comparable to the Blackrock Spire dungeons in Vanilla? Just a dungeon with 10 or 15 members? Or is it really retail type of raids where all kind of stuff is happening everywhere. I haven’t done any raids since wotlk I think btw. Maybe once or twice in Legion.
But the 10 or 15 members dungeons in Vanilla were just regular dungeons with bigger parties.

I like Gearscore or Gear check . It’s really easy to get better gear in SOD. If you are too lazy to invest some time in some armor before you go into a raid, then play with people who are lazy too.
Bro it’s only phase 1, this game aimed to have total of 4 phases, they even told you that in p1 there won’t be much to do but it won’t take like 2-3 months for second phase. We are looking at 1.5 months of playtime, just have fun and if you get bored this quick wait for phase 2, every phase they will most likely add tons of new stuff other than just runes, the game will expand…
Also, it’s a game mode they aimed at 30+ yo people with life responsibilities. That’s why they boosted XP and some such too.
It’s not meant to be something you spend 24/7 in or have constantly something to do. I rushed it last week and now I’m just chilling just doing raid and PvP event for rep and that’s it.
Because you don’t understand the problem with it, that is why you like it.
Like so many people, you’d rather insult someone instead of using the thing between your ears more efficiently.
And no, I will not even attempt to explain it, because I am apparently lazy.

I stand for people having their own requirements, particularly for pugs, but this is hilarious.
If they can’t pull their weight, why would they deserve a full clear and loot?
The first 4/5 bosses, yes. Kelris is definitely not a pushover and requires either an optimised raid ( lots of hunters/warriors/rogues/paladins, less so caster DPS ) or consumes ( shadow protection potion/FAP )
Because people don’t want to stop at Kelris. Why would anyone want to waste a lockout?
