Raiding in SoD is still a sweatlords game

Awesomeness

Start your own raid, invite 9 casuals and let us know how your raid went.

I wish the raid was a bit more casual, me and my group wasn’t able to kill number 6 boss at all…

I went to living flame since it was the only available realm of the two back at launch

What does that have to do with a fact that Priest healer is excellent for the one boss in the whole instance that is more than just a walk in the park for your average PuG?

I’m not sure what’s so wrong for raid leader to be looking for a class and spec combination that would increase success chance of the raid. It’s nothing to do with entitlement, it’s just a common sense?

I pitty all of those asking for gearscore or anything in lfg chat, bfd is so easy you can do it half naked without anything. And caring about parses on a 25 lvl bfd with half braindead mechanics for 6 year olds is just laughable, find a guild mate and do it under 1hour with no effort, rfk trash is harder than bfd.

BFD doesn’t qualify as a raid in my book, it is WAAAAYYYY to easy… way to easy…
It’s a joke, let’s be honest about this…

I got refused with my 70 shadow damage gear today lol. Some players are just “not very smart”. Some literally just see blue item or green item and thats the basis on what they judge you gear by. They don’t actually read the stats I assume.

All this just sounds like a me issue it’s like asking to play with your global elite friend while u are silver elite

WoW has always been about min maxing so why would it change now?
that’s whishfull thinking…
And btw, SoD is a waste of time anyway…it get’s boring pretty fast anyway.

Well u know what, that’s great that sod gets boring pretty fast for u. Then u have 3 other clients to play Classic era/hc, Wrath and Retail :stuck_out_tongue:

been there done that… wow is always fun for a short while and then it get’s boring af… FAST.

Then don’t play :stuck_out_tongue: that’s simple

Find a guild with nice people. In my guild, after a boss drops its loot, 3 members of the raid decide, after everyone rolls, who gets the item. The appointment of loot has no signs of cronyism whatsoever and my experience has been great so far.

Thing is people are going in expecting to clear 7/7 but they forget they’re classic players so having 1 or 2 mechanics in a raid is too much man :stuck_out_tongue: even tho it’s so ez. Then now people are complaining that some people start their own group and don’t pick them.

Wait, they’ve boosted XP? And here I am, not even 25 yet…

I don’t understand why more people don’t just join guilds.

I have both a level 25 ally mage and a level 25 shaman elemental, and I’ve never had any issues getting into Wildgrove PvE content, whether it’s with pugs or my guild. Especially with the elemental shaman, my DPS is subpar, and in the first week, I had a 5/7 success rate, but after that, it’s been consistently 7/7 with 3 drops per run. I’ve also recently joined a guild, and I haven’t encountered any problems there either.

I feel guilty every time leaving the guildies when I got bored with the game. And I do know that will happen in a few months anyways :pensive:
