Raise your hand if you think having more transmog options/ freedom is a strong way to save WoW. And what your ideas would be.

I dont think it will save WoW, the only thing that can save WoW is basically drsgonflight being gameplay wise fun.
However.
I think expanding transmog options would vastly improve the game from a aesthetic snd expressionate point of view,
I think itd be good to see, males get female armour design and females get males armour design, i.e men get access to the skimpy armours and women get access to the bulky armour.
Also armour dying would be great for people who put together transmogs without armour sets etc, would drastically help them create interesting sets that match

Casual looks, low fantasy looks, even skimpy looks are fine. Just anything other than the shadowlands looks and whatever vault of incarnates’ items look like. Apparently quest gear looks awesome.
Also armor types not mattering when you unlock transmog please There’s more but it’s 3:40 and i’m lazy 
I have many great ideas for WoW, related to Cosmetics and game design in general. If I worked at Blizzard, I would love for my suggestions to make it in to the game, but probably I could not decide on them all by myself, since it’s a company, and not determined by decision of a single person. In fact, I would appeal for a Job in Game Design department, if they did not require like 10+ years of experience in Programming etc. 
You can read my own threads for my other great suggestions, but they are just some of them. I thought of many great ideas before, and I submitted those in-game several times, hoping to see that they would make it into the game one day. However, Once, I had made a suggestion for a new Phoenix mount, and I had stated that, it could be even a Store mount. And they had added Sapphire Skyblazer after some time, which resembles the mount I had suggested before, so it made me happy to feel like Blizzard listened to my Suggestion to some extent

I’m not sure if the video link is still up though. However, you can search for “Türkiye Vakti” video on the Youtube. If the video is still there, you can find it and you can compare the Phoenix in the video with Sapphire Skyblazer mount.

One of them is; allowing Hair to be shown with Hoods. Like Sylvanas Windrunner and Valeera Sanguinar and some other prominent NPCs. I think if they add new compatible hood models, it would be possible.
Also, it would be cool if they add recolors of Sprite Darter’s Set, in different colors like Red, Yellow, etc.

It won’t save WoW, but it will certainly make things more enjoyable.
I propose:
New models for old armor, as a separate appearance - I’ve seen a bunch of WoW fans remaking these, and I don’t think they’d have an issue with Blizzard using their content, as long as their terms are met.
Recolors are fun, but imagine - collecting all of the official recolors opens up an option at the transmogrifier to:
- Recombine parts (like the handle of one axe with the blade of the other recolor)
or
- Completely be able to pick colors for your item
