Oh, I’ve run premade Marshal teams in Vanilla WoW where we (a team of rank 11+) just annihilated Horde teams for up to 12 hours a day, every day.
Some of the best fun I’ve ever had in this game.
There’s a place for the fair and square competition with properly matched players where every game is down to the wire and you’re being challenged to the utmost of your own skill and capability.
But it’s not Random Battlegrounds. They are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get. Unless you look at the little leaflet that’s included in the box that describes what every piece is. Then you know.
I’ve also been in Marshal teams in Vanilla, can’t say it was enjoyable for me. And generally speaking, when the opposition is useless, it stops being fun to me. To each their own I guess, but I really dislike this imbalance.
Utterly roflstomp or getting roflstomped is not my idea of “fun” battlegrounds.
Neither is static comp vs comp same tactics every time, rated bgs.
Legion had the best battleground pvp this game have ever had.
Random battlegrounds we’re a blast. Skillbased, varied, no comp meta, random group pvp.
No game was the same and you never felt useless or unstoppable because of gear or what you play.
Also extremly unpopular opinion: I enjoy when tank specs are a real serious threat and not just a flag carrier that you ignore half the time.
