In pve all classes/specs are easy to play, in pvp a different story. Mm and bm are braindead in both pve and pvp, SV is a different story. These are facts and I will not discuss further.
trying to force feed Melee SV because it currently does well in PvP? âŚ
have we really fallen as low as to say that we should accept a spec because it works in a niche situation in like jungle comps?
cmon guys, get your act together, Melee SV is bad, it needs help or it needs to go back to range theres no middle ground.

back in the day it was perfectly fine to have one spec good for pvp other for pve adn third for general use

If RSV is back I simply quit the game.
With the ww monk, itâs the funniest class I ever played.
Jumping everywhere is so much more enjoyable than being in the background, spamming abilities with the same sound, the same animation.
I just canât figure out how some of you can find it fun and enjoyable.
Before Legion, I almost scratched the surface of the class because omg it was BORING, during Legion, it became one of my favorite spec, and now IT IS my favorite spec.
Of course it needs changes because the state of the spec is⌠Well⌠You understand me. But going back to the boring RSV will definitely kill the spec, because as it is now, the spec is unique.
Well that being said : Thatâs a big no for me. I donât enjoy any class more than MSV.

Those 3,5 crippled hunters who play SV sure can do some flame. But they cant neglect the fact that SV experiment is a failure in terms of amount of people interested in it.

Damn I canât wait for them to change one of the two ranged braindead specs into an old SV hunter (DoT spec), since you all love him so much and cry for him every day. That will be too much fun

I play SV and i play only pvp.
Regarding my skill lvl, pretty casual, i have good performance, better than any other class played.
So to answer the question: why few players play SV? Because.
- it is one of the most fun but rotation quite difficult to manage well, we play in the boosting and meta community, no way ppl choose a difficult spec not meta
- bad reputation, based on 1), spread across forums
Asmongold, that i dont like or follow, talked very well about SV spec, i am sure that numbers will improve. You will also start to see the spec shining in arena more and more.

A Predator-like hybrid-spec would be awesome thoâ
Ranged (aimed shot like very long range kinda bursty, a few Outlaw like pistol shots, smart-disk (we have similar with chakram anyway; root with long range net, etc) + meele (wristblades, spears, naginata)
With optional pet (like MM have now, if you have one out, extra BL/predatorâs thirst or anythink, if not, lone wolf)

I see your points, in my personal situation, I gave up enhancement and unholy over survival hunter, since itâs just so much fun to play!
I wouldnât mind if they put out a ranged version to quiet the âdiscussionâ, but I really hope they wonât remove the spec as it is now. Thereâs so many class specs in the game to choose from.
For now, am enjoying this spec as my main DPS spec

Many players see hunter and think archer, but you can hunt with basically every weapon.
If the Class would somehow be called archer it wouldnt make sence having this specc 
Wouldnt it actually be possible to give mm talents like black arrow and explosive shot + serpent sting and give mm actually the possibility to tale ranged dot dmg talents instead of ranged high impact dmg builds?
Think that would actually be a great solution and more than possible. Add Blackarrow and make it replace aimed shot or sth like that.
Ofc they could give those to MM as talents, but it would be a waste since it wouldnât amount to something close to the old RSV anyway.
Not to mention how it would just take away more from what MM itself is meant to be, by design.

Thatâd be cannibalizing from MMâs fantasy, and MM has basically been reworked or redone every single expansion now too, since Legion, because they can not make it work because they keep shoving things to it that donât belong there and should be part of their own spec.
All the problems MM and BM have are partly because survival exists.
