I did read the article and I never realised the champ of Naaru and hand of adal were THAT long … which explains why one of them is among one of the most rare PvE titles (rarer than i.e. Immortal etc). Not because it was hard on its own, but its length…

What is current very hard to obtain title in game right now?
Few titles which will be removed from game doesn’t count - like in BFA champion of Azeroth.

Hum… from bfA titles… I guess on PvE would be ‘famed slayers’ - somewhat. but would be more common than old realm 1st titles. I guess.

I was impressed you thought the hardest part was getting the quest item before I noticed you didn’t have the achievement.
Rarest is Scarab Lord, rank 1 titles and realm first titles i’d imagine.
My rarest is probably Esteemed? Still obtainable but people hate farming reps so I haven’t seen a lot of people with it.

I dont really have alot of titles, and probably not any that are worth mentioning 
LoL the rarest of mine is probably the Talon King (18%). Surprisingly those harder to get have higher procent 
Not that I can inspect my titles in work

It’s pretty impossible to get any of the Draenor titles now since it’s a ghost town.

I did buy the quest item (I think), and wiped endlessly on the enrage timer. The black-harvest quest was truly amazing challenge and fun in general. It made you really use all your warlocks toolkit. And even with gear people got later, I do not think it was too easy. It was easier (my warlock was in LFR gear, she farmed endlessly to get it to raise her dps to survive enrage longer), but still you had to pay attention what happened in the room.
At time I did give some street cred to warlocks with the title.

They added a repair vendor in 5.3 or 5.4 for a reason 
I watched some people in mythic(?) heroic? gear manage to skip the second adds phase and here I was in my PvP gear going through nearly 3 add phases and it was hell. Such a relief when I finally managed to beat him and in hindsight it was a fun challenge 
Probably a long shot but when I did the achievement there was this little island right outside of ashran and when you were in a group of 5 you got 5 kills per 1 for whatever reason so knocked out most of the achievements there. Maybe people are still doing that from time to time if you want it.
I, myself, was one of the 2nd wave warlocks, who got it easier (due gear), but even in that LFr set bonuse,s flasks, potions and macros … and all that, I sometimes even felt that I just do not know warlocks enough to pull this trough. I even gave up, but my friends were like “what ? Give up… why are you here … chop chop, go back !” and at end it became like personal challenge. Pointless - in sense its just a game, and all that, but even when so many years later i type about this - I get flashbacks, I smile here.
same way I loved druid class quest in TBC. It made me use like EVERYTHING my druid had. From spell X to shapeshifts, to … anything and everything.
This is why i also loved mage tower challenges - they made you look at your characters and learn a lot about them.
They should totally do more of such things. I know it is MMO and all, but needing to use your full spellbook and challenge self on technical level too. Its fun!
Old rank 1 titles are BY FAR the rarest ones, not even remotely close

I am really impressed you have checked monk’s titles hoping to find of black harvest.
I got quest very early and wiped for around 2 hours in there refining strategy, then i got tired and decided to return with better gear. One-shotted facerolling it, i wish i didnt waste 2 hours tryharding for nothing.
That’s BS, since your warlock has exact day as my warlock - this makes your post funny and hilarious in many ways.
And since, as I said, my warlock did it late, when it was already notably simpler to do, then not sure why you try to downplay other peoples achievements ? And yes you and I have exactly (on dot) same date on armouries. So you did not face roll a thing originally and failed just like the others.
