Rarest WoW titles?

FoS are usually shown on any character but I concede. When did you faceroll it? From my memory it didn’t really become faceroll with gear until 5.4.

To be fair the achievement came with the WoD pre-patch so everyone has the same date if they logged in day 1 of the pre-patch.

Rarest titles are probably the r1 gladiator titles and the HoF titles. My personal rarest title is probably The Indomitable. Not many people did WoD Challenge Modes.

Oh, I did not remember/know it. But my quetsion still remains - what it gives for them to downplay things that made other people have fun ? I just dislike such elitism that goes like, “bwah bwah but it was easy” …

i just rate its difficulty from my personal point of view, trivial by the end of expansion. I had my fair share of tries and falling to big bois acting as soft enrage time at the begining. When i came there later enough i hadn’t have any troubles finishing it right away. Surely i wouldnt one shot it with better gear without those 2 hours of trying, but i would still did it within few attempts. Difficulty of greenfire quest in latest mop conquest points set was no higher than difficulty of mage tower in 935+ gear.

by the end of expansion, i couldnt have better gear than conquest points set at that moment.

Don’t know about Rare, but my M.O.M. title is the best ingame hands down. :stuck_out_tongue:

It probably depends. I am that jester, who (as some already know) have multiple non-linked accounts (meaning for game its fully different people, nothing carried over). And when my hunter did Mage towers and I jumped on “lol easy 2 pulls” (when mage towers came out, i did 1st the BM one - the one with that worm and tauren NPC you needed interrupt; and in reality took me 5 pulls not 2, but in gchat I said 2) - someone took note of my gear.

I did not feel offended etc, but I took notion of this comment. So … I did later do some of the challenges twice - and 2nd time using only gear I got from world, and even then not best. Pretty much ilevel when towers came out.

And I can say whoeever commented my gear had a point. There was HUGE difference of me doing challenges in any raid gear, lfr gear-mythic gear or M+ ger or no gear at all. Even “easiest boss ever” imp mother stopped being “make 2 pulls” when done on the gear levels that were accurate, when the towers just came out.

So it all depends of perspective and sometimes also false memories.

Same way I was one of the highest ‘waved’ hunters in EU proving Grounds in WoD. I got incredibly bored somewhere on 58 though, but still - it was easy - even and after 60, I had time even to type in guild chat.

On my 0 gear hunter who had world quest gear + something from LFR I couldn’t get past 30 no matter how hard I tried…

We all may believe we are best players eu, or that ‘something is easy’, but we tend to forget reasons why things feel easy. Maybe you were warlock main - easy class for you. For me warlock was 10+th alt I got … what that MoP level was 90 ?

I did most mage tower challenges, minus healing ones. Healing is just something I am not very familiar with. Some mage tower things I did twice or more - various gears. And I can say that - Xylem was probably hardest boss there was… except as DH, for DH this was easier than imp mother was for feral druid, and it took my feal druid kill imp mother with 2 pulls. *

And regardless how easy or hard you find something. Players are different - no need to look down to anyone. Our gears, experience etc all probably was different. Just like me doing proving grounds in wod and falling asleep near 60, there were people, who struggled to get 30.

  • the boss got nerfed to druids due to druid change some point, i did it after aoe change to feral druid abilities which trivialised the boss. And the DH refference is actually that my DH was severly undergeared and needed to hit enrage, but I got my glaives regardless. I struggled on xylem a lot as frost dk however.

I quite like ‘Predator’, ‘Demonslayer’ and ‘the Admired’

Now reading this I have just discovered there is one up from ‘Admired’ which is ‘Esteemed’. Why did I have to read this? Why!

The Rarest title I have is “Trainer”, I think.

Grand Crusader, it required you to finish HC Trial of the Crusader with 50 attempts left as server first.

Ain’t that prestigious anymore considering people dupe/buy accounts that have it.

There’s that too.

You can still get it if you know where to look, though I highly advise against it since it’s heavily against the terms of service.

That said, Blizzard also doesn’t really seem to do anything about it.

Well, that would be suitable :sweat_smile:

Really? I think I’ve seen 4 people with the Scarab Lord title ever, I assume absolutely everyone who has that title would use it.

Its not a rare title but I like the awesomeness when a title fits in with the char name.

I’ve seen many mages called “Archmage Jaina” with all kinds of weird spelling =P And sure it fits but still a copy. And thats ok!
When I pick a name I try to be unique but sometimes when you try names in char creation a cool name pops up in your head and you try it. This happen to me =)
Many years ago I created my Undead Priest, and I wanted a cool name. After alot of failure I hit the sweetspot. Named after the villain in The Mummy movies. And when Legion class titles rolled in it was the best thing I could have hoped for!

My Undead Priest - High Priest Imhotép.
Im insanly happy that I got it! =)

scarab lord and grand marshal (in retail servers).

Celestial Defender, Scarab Lord, Grand Marshal, Deaths Demise etc

Pretty much every realm first something or stuff from vanilla

i have to disagree with realm firsts, , they come in groups. which means you can find 40 or 25 people with a certain world first. and these people are all from elite guilds which have like 25 people with several world first. its impressive but when you see 25 guys with a list of world firsts all from the same guild it becomes banal.

the quantity of titles argument can be made for whatever then, because scarab lord isnt really that impressive since you could earn it up until cata, and at the peak of the game, even if you say that 0.001% of players have scarab lord at a peak player count of 12 million thats still 1200 people total with this title.

By deduction then we can conclude the only titles that mean jack are gladiator titles

I don’t often see the title. of the Shattered Sun about these days.

the deathtsalker on the other faction is a cool title. I have that one. went for it first. because it sounds mean.
