I’m reading alot of posts about the RNG system. To be honest I don’t like BFA that much. Been playing since early TBC but been taking long breaks (4months+) for the last 2-3 years.
My question:
Rate every expantion you played /10 and let’s see what most people like or dislike.
TBC: 9,5/10
WotLK: 9/10
Cataclysm: 7/10
Mists of Pandaria: 8/10
Warlords of Draenor: 4/10
Legion: 7/10
BFA: 5/10
TBC/WoTLK were my favourites! WoD was mehh, same as BFA. Huge grinding and everything feels so slow.
Vanila 9/10 - rewards equal to your efford, just awesome. TBC 10/10 - wow will never reach that state again, it was time when blizzard didnt lisen comunity who says “gief loot i presed space on my keyboard” ,a and blizzard didnt have activision cancer inside their brain. WOTLK - 7/10 - at this point game started to sway toward pleasing comunity and activision cancer start to grow. CATA - 5/10 , cata begins awesome, but blizzard lisened comunity and reverted CC from 5 man dungeon and make contless mindless and pointless, PVP was in cirucs MIST 3/10 - crown of all whats wrong, pointless content, pointless pvp, pointless gearing, no drive to play the game. PvP in circus WARLORD 7/10 - blizzard learned from mist failure, and worked on fixng stuff like CModes was really challanging and awesome, PVP in cirucs LEGION 6/10- alot of nice stuff which become boring quickly, PVP in circus BFA - 6/10 recycled legion content is good maybe for major patch but not for expansion, not much new stuff except zones, PVP still in cirucus.
The Burning Crusade:8/10 Wrath of the Lich King:9/10 Cataclysm:7.5/10 Mists of Pandaria:9/10 Warlords of Draenor:7/10 Legion:8.5/10 Battle for Azeroth:8/10
TBC: 8.5/10
WOTLK: 5/10
Cata: 6/10
MoP: 8/10
WoD: 5/10

BFA: 4/10 - Currently, could change in the long term.
WOTLK is over rated, people who often complain about the game being easy can thank WOTLK for that, the term wrath baby came from this expansion and the dungeons and raids took a severe step backwards compared to TBC.
Pandaria was one of the most under rated expansions, it added some really good story content (5.1) and interesting villains such as Lei Shen. The progression on Isle of Thunder was great as well as it was server wide, not region, like things are today.
It’s biggest failure was the time people spent languishing in SoO.

Who say We play? During Mists _I considering to stop WoW forever… I took alot of long breaks at this time. also during mists alot of people left wow, never to return, game reach its crysis to maximum at that time,evrything were just pointless and not worth your time, anyone has anything.
These at order how I felt playing at the level I was at that time.
Vanilla - 8/10. I was pretty casual and it had its problems too.
TBC - 8/10. It had it problems, but for its time it was good.
Wotlk - 9/10. Best expansion so far.
Cata - 6/10. Got bored and quit.
MoP- 7/10. Came back closer to wod. Didnt play much, but the stuff I did play was pretty ok.
Wod - 4/10. Didnt get into raiding. Sucked if you didnt raid. Fail.
Legion - 8/10. Revitalized my interest in wow and have been playing without pauses since then and raiding mythic. Legion was pretty good after some of its initial problems were solved.
Bfa - 3/10. Lets be honest here. Bfa wasnt even released ready. It has lots of problems. Only reason I bother playing is because Uldir is at least… well… passable. its not a good raid, but it does its job. Otherwise bfa just fails completely.
You love Blizzard and their content?! You’ve just rated Battle for Azeroth 1/10, so clearly you don’t love that content! And if you just want to support Blizzard, why don’t you play their other games instead of WoW then? Surely it would be better to place your love elsewhere than WoW. I mean, considering the fact that you rate Battle for Azeroth 1/10!
And let’s not pretend it’s your job to pay each month to play their product – a product which you seemingly detest. Get real.
You could do so much else with your spare time – things that you would actually enjoy and have fun doing. But instead you choose to play a video game that you rate 1/10 because of a professed love for the company and their content?! What the hell?!
You missed my point. I was merely pointing out the ridiculousness of people who consider certain WoW expansions to be so terrible, yet at the same time still pay each month to continue playing them.
That is stupidity beyond my comprehension, because I would never ever in a million years waste my time on a video game that I didn’t find enjoyable and fun.
I think the worst purchase I’ve made is Sunless Sea. It looked cool, so I bought it on impulse. It turned out you just sail around and read a bunch of text that tells a fairly detached story. I regretted my purchase immediately. I spent 37 minutes playing it, and I’ve never played it since. I would rate it 4/10.
Never in a million years would I even waste a fraction of a second on any video game – let alone an expansion of said video game! – if it had ever felt it was deserving of a rating below 6/10.
There are so many great video games on the market you can play. So why on earth would you ever waste your time (and money!) on ones you rate 1/10?!
