Multiboxers don’t account for anything even close to a substantial portion of the playerbase.
If there’s less gold in the economy then the prices of things will have to drop. Remember how hilarious Warlords of Print Gold was? They pulled back in Legion and low and behold the average prices of things fell, including the WoW token.
Ye pulled back with 500 gold wqs, and 4k gold missions.
Keep the token but only make it be able to be used for adding game time.
Stop the battle net balance can buy you any Blizzard game or service nonsense, and many boxers will quit.
I won’t as I pay my subs with rl money… I do gain a free month here and there from recruit a friend though.
This has changed. I noticed today on PTR that Legacy Loot was enabled, so I checked out Highmaul.
I do indeed get 5 items per boss from Highmaul on PTR, but the vendor values are 37% - a bit more than 1/3 - of the values on Live. It seems entirely possible to me that Blizzard will not change the values from what we see on PTR when Shadowlands drops, so anyone farming for gold this way better get it while they can!

what they nerfed old stuff … its not like they did it during previous expansions too… HOW SHOCKING
Oh, they always do, to some extent. I was always convinced they would re-enable Legacy Loot though - they REALLY do not want to aggro the Transmoggers! 
No doubt as soon as pre-patch hits, we’ll see people starting to get us fuller numbers.
well joking aside its sad but understandable that things drop in value specially with the squish
Yes, but what do they want to achieve making people get less gold ? At end probably will just encourage boosting and token selling services.
