You now the difference? One of the problems which doesnt exist for 100%of alliance players has alreary a cheap to buy fix. Move to pve server. But for the problem which 100% horde players have the fix to buy fraction change doesnt exist. You cant expect players which play with their friends be it rl or guild or what ever friends. To Convince 3-50 players to put again so much time in leveling. Maybe when some magic pala and mage boosters appear and offer players ( hey come to us we boost your chars free fast) but its time consuming and even if 2 of 5friends would have the time ther others maybe dont have it so the poject is from the table
So you want to tell me that with boost its simple to leave all you friends and guild?
No ofc they all need to be boosted thats the point. Btw in my case it would be 4 irl friends not a whole guild i care for.
So your solution is to make the problem worse. :)) ok
I dont understand
If more allies from pvp servers move to pve it will just make even more of the remaining ones to reroll horde to get rid of constant ganking which does not exist horde side.
Why did those entire guilds and friend groups decide to play horde in the first place? Oh yeah, I know, they like bones and raptors and mudhuts ofc, whoād think otherwise?
And why canāt they decide to reroll alliance together? Just after the prepatch 12 guilds out of top 20 alliance guilds rerolled horde on my server. What a coincidence amirite, they probably all started liking green hunchbacks. But a horde guild canāt reroll alliance, how is that even possible?
Plus, what is the point of having really one sided pvp servers? You canāt wpvp, the whole point of a pvp server, cuz theres nobody to kill
Very well written indeed.
As i stated in another topic, iām an original horde player myself, always been because of aesthetics, and attachment since i started the game as horde back in 2005. Also interested in pvp mostly, as encounters are in my opinion more dynamic and less boring than pve bosses. Less predictable
Quickly realised during classic the queues for bgs were way longer than what i was prepared to endure, so i decided to swap definitively to my alliance chars for tbc.
Open-World PvP in hindsight, activity that i usually enjoy aswell has been pretty frustrating in classic, griefing instead of āhonorableā encounter, people tend to corpse camp you for no reasons⦠And thatās done on both side, alliance does it too when they have the numbers.
Look you cant compare progress guilds and players with people which just play to have a fun time. And the friends in my case decided for it because we like the lore style more.
So stay horde and eat the queues. Itās that simple.
I dont say i like this as solution but its one i also wouldnt like to play alliance but a free fraction change would be a solution in this case
Haha yeah right, I know, itās the lore.
Relax buddy itās gonna be all fine.
Literally the only alliance advantage:
exists
every horde player: must have that also
Kudos to you for realising and trying to make a change. Now the rest of the meta slaves should listen to OP.
I did the same thing except from P1 in Vanilla classic and havent regreted since. Do I miss my original faction? Hell yes but I will only play alt pve char om Horde side. Alliance and instant queues are golden these days.
Yet on pve servers you canāt bully the opposing faction off from your farming spots and mining nodes.
Edit: I will give it to you that horde have no reason to play on pve server. Literally none.
Itās not though Honor gains used to be higher prior to 2.3 also most of the hordes that are obnoxiously ganking open world do so because itās the most effective way of gaining honor right now. To enable cross faction BGās whould not just be benefitial to horde players it would also greatly help with the open world content for alliance players.
I totally get why they wouldnt do it in classic due to the horde vs alliance theme and earning honor for you faction to climb the ranks and what not, but for tbc itās an absolute no brainer as the PvP end game as in Arenas is cross faction anyway and the BGās are a means to an end to gain the gear required for it.
Iām not saying this as some angry horde only player Iāve done r14 on alliance in classic played alliance during the whole time, I also played horde back in actual tbc and the honor/BG situation wasnt nearly as scuffed as it is rn from what I see and read in forums be it here or on reddit this needs to be addressed there is no point to be salty about it whenever BGās which were designed as the way to gain honor do not function for more than half the population in that way itās simply a design flaw and has very little to do with player behaviour.
So you are for race transfers?
Yes of course.
Bottom line is alliance needs buffs, either to min maxing meta or through infusion of players from horde>alliance. Otherwise a game that is meant to be a tug of war will remain one-sided for the foreseeable future.
