Re-rolling Alliance (PvP Queues)

Garbage post for a garbage solution, I even doubt it is actually true.

In line with your garbage response to this post then isn’t it. (As well as all your other arrogant & condescending replies to posts relating to the topic)

Enjoy your queues, I guess.

Well, enjoy your long queues and the ally premade coming to graveyard camp you at the end. People like you, and most “horde” players deserve 100% what’s happening for multiple reasons, the strongest one being their bad reactions and manners discussing the issue.

I enjoyed OP’s post. Informative.

Yeah thats fair, with your orc and be example i thought you were against any horde reroll

Good for you that you have so much time, you can level characters over and over again! I don’t. We mostly chose the Horde, because our friends are here, also they look cool, have cool animations and racials. Most of the Alliance looks ugly.

They will be super handsome when WotLK classic is released no worry be happy

That’s fair, you have your priorities set. You prefer looks over queue time.
Time moves forward for everyone - it’s just a matter of priorities too. It’s not like others have more time than you except you die soon for some reason
You just don’t want to spend it on a new char again. Re-rolling together with your friends could also be fun experience.
I re rolled to alliance already in classic phase 3 together with 4 rl friends and the main reason was bg queue time.

There can be countless reasons why people may not want to reroll, including character progress, friends, guilds, etc.

Blizz should look into addressing this, and I’m sure they will

Maybe they should just learn what that the private servers have. And learn from it?

Most of alliance on PvE servers are trash quality raiders (LFR tier quality).
The leveling experience cleans the recruit pool to have at least decent players that can endure some hardship and struggle.
I would personally play on PvE realm if this was not the main problem. (Had char on PvE realm in wotlk. Had to transfer to PvP to have some decent guild In cata the restrictions got lifted, but I would even level new char just to have decent raiding)

As horde we need to go and camp all the alliance because we have 1hr queues for BGs which most of the time is against a premade. I think the mercenary option is the solution to this problem. If we have lower queues we wont be able to move around the world and look for free honor. Simple. I would not reroll alliance and leave friends and gold and everything that I’ve done on my horde char because of long BG queues. I’d prefer to make a group with 1 or 2 more people and camp alliance.

Of course there is. That’s called a choice, you want faster queues, you reroll. If you can live with longer queues, because you feel attached to you character, nobody is forcing you to swap.

The reason why people, myself included are answering is because people WANTS Everything these days. No my dude, if you want everything, with extra bacon, onions, and cheese it’s called shadowlands.

I think it’s always great when people participate in wPvP.

Well today i killed an orc warlock there tried to take the outland towers. So yea you hordies think that you’re so cleaver.

Either get ganked ? There are PVE / normal servers also.
I’ve been leveling my Alliance on that server, just for the fact that i don’t want to get ganked all the time.

Maybe the only con is to find premade groups for PvP, as normal servers are more dungeon / raid minded. But i don’t mind. For casual PvP it’s fun to be on.

I think people playing alliance and calling short queues something like an “alliance racial” just do not realise that this problem is actually making it worse for both sides.

Some continue to argue queue times were like this in classic as well - and that is true, just that it was altering the playing field for everyone and you were competing for ranks within the same faction. Now with fixed honor prices it just is not feasible for most horde-players to “play” (or rather mostly afk) 100+ hours for 1 piece of gear. And that’s only mentioning the goal btw - anyone ever thought of people that want to play BGs and not only abuse it to gear up for arenas?

I played alliance for a part of classic and I feel most of the issues OP described - still the rezztimer in open-world is capped for a reason; ever felt like waiting 20 mins at your corpse to rezz and then be able to continue playing the game would be fun?
Yes alliance has annoying things to deal with, I know that - yet the game is not literally telling you to afk 90% of your online-time.

I also want to mention that alliance has a pay2win option by server-transferring to a more balanced/alliance dominated server - there is no faction-transfer option though

Literally by far MOST people would never even consider going through the pain to re-level 70 levels, leave their friends, guild, gold, items and everything else behind just to get shorter bg queues. It is just not going to happen!

So with the “ideal solution” out of question, there is 2 valid options IF the problem was to be fixed:
a) enable faction transfer (benefitting everyone, including blizzard lul)
b) mercenary mode (benefitting both factions btw, though ofc leaning to horde)

Most importantly though, stop thinking that the situation is going to change in favor of alliance by keeping things as it is - it won’t. It will only get some players to quit the game and others to play it grudgingly. The egoistic way of thinking “it does not bother me, fk everybody else” or being sadistically happy about others’ misfortune has destroyed enough games already.

Ah yes wanting to play bgs is instantly shadowlands. Weird reasoning as usual from these ppl

I agree 100% with this post. But rerolling is no option for me. I have 0-3 hours / day to play and it would take way to much time (for me) to reroll.
I think many hordies sit in the same boat.

Its a viscous circle on pvp servers. Horde players stuck in queue so they just gank the levelling alliance players which annoys the hell out of them making levelling and farming really difficult.

To those saying this is a player created problem are just plain wrong its 100% blizzards fault. They have made a competitive pvp game with only 2 sides of which neither are mirrored. One side will always be more popular than the other whether it be for better visuals/animations or the differing racials. You cannot blame players for choosing the side they think is the strongest
if you were a F1 driver and had the choice of driving a Williams or a Mercedes which one would you choose? The idea of any competition is to win.

With regards racials the horde ones are nowhere as powerful as the alliance like to make out. In fact 2 of the 3 best racials are alliance its just alliance have a couple of races whose racials are not great whilst all horde racials are relevant in pvp. Yes horde as a faction are slightly better but they are nowhere as near as good as alliance make out. Its just been a false opinion that has gone on for so long that its taken for granted that its true and why the statement horde for pvp, alliance for pve is a common saying.

Also alliance never mention the huge advantage they have in pvp that they have over the horde and that is size. Smaller characters are harder to target (or take longer to cycle through targeting). Targeting a Gnome or a Dwarf quickly is a lot harder than targeting the larger horde races although this advantage is not as prevailant in arenas.

There is no fix that is fair to both sides and this is everyones fault, Alliance, Horde and Blizzards.

And at last someone with a honest point of view. Thanks.
