i don’t use LFG for dungeons BC if it’s not done in like 10 min, you get kicked for being to slow.

They’ve launched a new season and increased the demands on heroic dungeons, including their rewards (higher ilvl).
But normal remained intact and it works as before…
I bought a lot of green gear from the auction house to do heroics after I reached level 80. It costed me around 4k gold. Tbh though, I didn’t really do a lot of heroic. I just jumped straight into m0, and with small pulls, it was very managable
You don’t want advice, you just want a little cry.
But here is some advice.
The real question is how can you struggle to reach 567, this week of all weeks. The answer is you’re trying to create a problem where none exists for people that “want” to overcome it.

After I did the campaign and a couple of dungeons, I was around 530 ilvl, so I understand OP. But… as you said, you can really just buy gear for cheap to start heroic asap.
However, I think explorer gear should be equippable at lvl 78 and start dropping then, so people gear up as they level. It was a bit lame that my best choice was to go to the auction house, ngl
I know that they increased the rewards but also increasing the demands without also increasing previous rewards is … not very smart.
I think he’s still got a valid point though. While you’re correct in what you’re saying. I think that Normals → Heroics → Mythics is a natural and intuitive way of progressing.
Making this way of progression not the most efficient one, I can understand but making it literally impossible is… let’s just say kinda weird.
I think it’s because heroics drop better stuff now.
There are more sources for higher gear now though than pre-season. Overal it’s easier to get to that ilvl.
But it does seem counter-intuitive to have a requirement that’s higher than what the previous difficulty drops.
Its ok, not everybody is capable of digesting information longer than a tweet.
You can buy green 564 ilvl gear for 300-400 a piece if you’re lucky. That’s what i’ve kitted my warrior with but now all items i need go for 10-35k each so it’s a waiting game. Even if you buy all 564 gear, you’re still under the limit for queuing for HC dungeons and if you’ve leveled your alt only through dungeons and spend your crystals on your main, you’re gated with world quests etc.
Compared to when you could just run dungeons all the way to M+.

Yeah, but if you played the game normally, you should easily have enough valorstones to upgrade them once though. You can also get a darkmoon card as a trinket for additional ilvl boost.
Well, i’ve leveled what i consider normally for leveling alts which is just running dungeons to get used to tanking them up to lvl 80. Meaning i have no valorstones or crystals.
I don’t know, maybe you’re not supposed to do it that way and instead is supposed to suffer through the campaign over and over.
I had all alts 80lvl. But I wait next week TBC’s TW come out.
