On top of this if you guys can’t even notice that Firemaw practically died for 4 days, how can you even be trusted for a larger realm with way more issues to occur?
I also remember the twitter thread of this idea being mentioned and all the feedback to it was practically negative along with the horrible tone of the dev, yet still going ahead with it? Especially with the failure of the SoD mega realm with the realm going offline randomly and promises about names never kept and we’re meant to trust you?

This is frustrating to read… our guild moved to Golemagg from Mirage Raceway as the realm was death a.f. nothing happening and the auction house was in shambles…
Now we got announced we’re going back to Mirage Raceway? Can we get a refund on the money we spend on the transfers?

Who asked for this ? And why are we, the players who like our current realm, being punished ? This is gonna do nothing but split people apart, just like free transfers did in wrath and tbc. Now this time we also lock out people for no apparent reason, other than blizzard wanting to push this Mega server idea. You keep saying you got the server tech, but youve shown time and time again that servers not handle it. Please atleast let servers stay open for new players, and see how popular your new mega server is gonna be then.

I am actually baffled why they didn’t go for this solution. Server merge like on retail seems like the best solution by far - but I’m gonna assume it has something to do with reducing toxicity. Hell I know how people talk about Firemaw players on Mirage.

Madness, im gonna lose like 50% of the names on my chars. Why can’t we have a fresh server so everyone gets a fair shot at the names instead of people on Mirage get prio over everyone else?

Wohoooo so happy for mirage raceway. When i moved to gehennas my names where taken, so happy that now i can play my real main that i left on mirage because the name was not aviable on gehennas.

I lost my character’s name back when I transferred from Nethergarde Keep to Mirage when Blizzard announced they would shut down the realm. You get used to it. And it absolutely sucks. But Blizzard’s not going to do anything about it.

I joined with my name Feb 4th. There was plenty of time for anyone to have thought about the name I have.
So clearly its intentional. Isn’t this malicious? This feels like identity theft.

Didn’t you choose yourself to play on a german server?
We lose our guild along with all achievements and guild feats of strength we’ve earned together? On top of that, we have to spend extra gold to purchase a new guild bank, while also losing the existing guild banks we’ve set up on bank alts.
Also raise the gold cap for transfers. 50k gold per level 81+ character is not enough — remove the limit for these free transfers.
Also BMHA will be a nightmare with a 75k+ player server, so this “new” function will be dead after 2months of mop.

Gehennas/firemaw is already a pve realm due to players choice. But wanting them to move to mirage raceway and not the other way around makes 0 sense.

Who asked for this? How did this go from some idiot idea to already getting forced in a week? No name reservations, and screw everyone without saved characters on some random PvE server?
