Good, now enable cross faction raiding. Or make faction changes free because we all know what is coming next. I sure hope Everlook is becoming a Horde server.

Where did you see that time frame?

pvp realms just are not a thing anymore, they are always going to 100% on either faction

Joke, right? Maybe do factino balanced (merge alli server with horde) and make this PvP game great again ffs …

It’s a response to the person saying “Ironforge pro says character not available” - Ironforge pro specifically only shows who has raided in the time period I mentioned, so if someone took Avarosan’s name, there are a couple likely options and one unlikely:
Avarosan-Mirage has existed for a long time, just hasn’t raided theh lockout Ironforge Pro mentions
Avarosan-Mirage doesn’t raid at all, but is still an active player, thus excluding them from Ironforge Pro statistics
Avarosan-Mirage is an old player that might not have played since Cata for all we know
Avarosan-Mirage is reserved by an Avarosan coming from another realm and was faster after the announcement to reserve their name.
and the unlikely one:
Avarosan has lost their character name due to a malicious player targeting them specifically.

I cannot believe Blizzard is forcing players into this so called “mega server.” This is not just a technical change. It is a blatant disregard for the time, identity, and communities that players have built over years. Many of us chose our realms for their culture, their size, or simply the friends and guilds we made there. Forcing everyone into a homogenized server erases that history and makes our choices meaningless.

Even worse, this is not being presented as an option. There is no respect for players who valued their quieter, tight knit communities, or for those who already feel overwhelmed by overcrowded zones and queues. Instead of nurturing diversity in player experiences, Blizzard is steamrolling it all in the name of efficiency or engagement.

Players are not just account numbers to be funneled into one giant server farm. We are communities, guilds, friendships, and stories. By forcing this change, Blizzard is telling us that none of that matters. It is hard not to feel betrayed.

Quieter places are just not sustainable, on Sulfuron for exemple when the overall raiding population got to less than 1k, it was literally impossible to find anyone to recruit

then why did you never do any PvP ?

Can you explain to me exactly what separates a PvP realm from a PvE realm when 99% of the active population is one faction?

thats the entire point of the merge smarty pants

They are though. i’ve raided on Hydraxian waterlords throughout all of cata was it way harder than on a bigger server? yes did it take way longer to get anything done? yes. But it was fun to have friends get together

Why you don’t open just a new server totally? Like, pple from other realms are literally screwed with their characters names because someone back in WOTLK created a char and didn’t play on it for ages…

Release names that were created ages ago so we can have a chance to get some decent nick.

And what about guilds and their progress? Can you transfrer guild?

No you don’t, if this was an issue 99% of people would not have seperated.
