So getting this message with a two hour estimate.
Apparently there is not enough room for every player on a server.
Why is there not enough room for every player on the server, and is this a thing that will be fixed? Because having to wait 2 hours before able to play a game, not exactly the fun we were looking for
exactly my question. they had to stop lettinâ ppl create characters at some certain amount of created characters long time ago. thats how it worked in old times. u couldnt create characters on some full servers. now they expect ppl to simply relevel again on new serevers they create. while ppl are obv afraid of having a main char in the future on a low populated server.
well done blizz. i couldnt expect to fail at such simple task as to create more servers at the start and lock the character creation
Because where do u make line? Imagine you server has cap of 30k, so u lock it when 30k unique accounts make char there, now on launch everybody wants to play so there will mostly be at least 20k players, in odd hours? Maybe 5-10, thats 20k of free space that no 1 can use, in 2 weeks half of those people wont even olay there and u have dead realm, and im not even talking about people playing multiple realms, imagine at start u could reserve 3 names across 2 eu pvp server, in our example that could mean 30k players coul fill up two 30k servers⌠Hard Caps are shty idea
Yea well, problem is at both end, blizz fcked up and uderstimated, people doesnt want to grt kicked so they use scripts to stay in game even if they arent playing thus new people cant get in and it takes 2 hours to pass 50 people
So that should make us question why people can even run that kind of scripts, sounds a lot like a way to cheat around the afk thing, and not exactly a decent thing to do to people who do want to play the game instead of going afk for a long time.
are we supposed to throw off our whole scedules to when we can play?
Because a âsorry boss, canât come in today, finally made it through the queâ doesnt exactly sounds like a thing that keeps a job.
When some people have two hours a day to play, and they get greeted with a 6 hour estimated wait time⌠And they gotta be busy after those two hours again, how are people going to be able to play the game?
