Rearranging and Removing Portals

@Grainne

Most of us were aware of this.

But Blizzard " or ones bulling it’s strings not bliz itself" did not care to listen, same like what happened to LFG tool.

There should also be an NPC somewhere that can take you straight to the dark portal.

But again, like I say, another portal or two would still be a good thing.

Also I never said it was 100% good, I said it was 100% better. Having everything in one nice, neat, clean location rather than spread out all over the place.

I’m sorry to inform you of this then, you’re interneting wrong. You cannot be a nice person on the internet! You’re suppose to be mean, vile and painfully sarcastic.

I know right!!!

On US forum they are almost at 8 k, let’s keep this going .

And one guy in that thread has made almost 900 posts alone. That’s more than our entire thread!

So long as people are willing to keep arguing the discussion can keep going. But what hasn’t been said by this point? I mean, do you have anything to say you haven’t said in your previous 88 posts in this thread? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

What about you Jito? Aren’t you tired of arguing for the sake of it, or picking at posters because you think you own the forums?

But here we are again where there is no interest to be: insulting each other instead of debating. And that’s you favorite field.

It’s lagging everywhere, boralus, instances.
Kinda standard on a new patch, will get better in a couple of days.

afaik last time forums got big complain threads did blizzard listen ? no…
and now we have 1 more big complain thread, will they listen now? I doubt it
will blizzard loose more subs… guarantied…

new metric ‘time played’ is priority 1 for blizzard, I guess losing subs is not important to them as much as making players slow down ‘time played’ so they get bored and quit

Blizzard if you want players to play more, give them something to play for, slowing players down to do stuff is not it!

I’m not sure that clocking up a post count for the hell of it is really constructive. I also don’t think they are going to take any feedback until we’ve had the new system for a while. It wouldn’t make any sense to react after one day unless it was something game breaking.

this is not something that takes playing to know is a bad thing, its basic math, it takes you longer time, do you like it or not, you really don’t have to play to figure that one out

Not sure about needing feedback

Don’t think anyone is going to suddently go “you know? All this flying about afk on flight paths IS more fun and immersive. I was wrong”

Yeah. I’m sure when Aerythlea scours the thread for feedback and comes across my numerous replies, then the sentiment is probably that a single post would have sufficed. :joy:

I don’t know. Given the blue post in this thread, I kind of feel as if they already know the feedback and what people think. I mean, it’s not like you and I or anyone else are unaware of the different thoughts and feelings on the matter. So Blizzard are likely aware of everything as well.

Whether they’ll change something or not remains to be seen. To me it feels like one of those topics where it’ll all be forgotten in a few weeks, but time will tell

If I was trying a new system (this has nothing to do with me but hypothetically), I wouldn’t be reacting to any feedback until a period of time had passed to assess how the changes have actually impacted players. I also wouldn’t find the ‘oh this is terrible’ type feedback very constructive.

In contrast to everyone who is finding it an ordeal there are many players who are coping fine or aren’t finding it a very big impact. So detailed or constructive feedback is far more valuable than just going it’s stupid, it’s terrible, this should never have happened.

But I doubt anyone is interested in posting like that so carry on

I see no people at all, but that has to do with my server being lonelier than a graveyard. Earthen Ring, that is.

I believe we’ve had similar comments (from Blizz) in the past with oh we’ll see how it goes and things are never changed no matter how much some of us hate something.

But it is still an obvious choice, do you like to travel more or not, you don’t have to play the game to know that, ‘new systems’ where it is something like a talent change, that have to be experienced first, sure I can understand that, but this is a black and white matter, easy choice… good or bad

and a big thread ive read a few years back where big complaints were made, and the players never liked it, but stopped complaining, guess what blizzard did? nothing and kept that change, even tho it was bad

so some players don’t find it a very big impact and are coping fine, but would these same people be fine with all the portals too ? if they would, then its just idiotic to remove them

I’ve found it to have made a very minor impact on my travel time. I can only give feedback on my experience not yours. So I like the portal room, that it’s tidied up the mess of portals all over the place and I am personally not fussed about the few we lost.

That does not translate into people who aren’t affected means the portals should just remain. Quite the opposite.

If I was upset that the portals were gone I would be posting how it was causing problems. What actual impact it is having on me. What it has done to the journey that I’m now taking to location x every week etc. I can’t give that kind of feedback because I’m not feeling it. I am suggesting those that are actually using the different methods to get about to actually post constructive feedback.

Sadly I think it’s just going to be a continuous rant of this is stupid this is horrible this is etc

I have no clue what you are trying to say with that, except it don’t affect you much

It has really been that hard to read that I am trying to get the negatively impacted people to post constructive feedback? That a whole long post of this is terrible isn’t going to help anyone.
