Classic is not going to be a s.show as it will be attended that way.
We’re reacting because precisely we’re not in classic anymore ^^
Technology advanced since then and we are now able to port and to fly anywhere we want.
For those who are backward-looking there will be Classic indeed in few months time, just be patient.

I’m not defending whatever decision they make but they really can’t win.

They have made a post on both the EU and NA forums acknowledging the huge feedback given by players about the removal of portals.

If they said nothing it would be pitchforks they don’t ever listen, they don’t read anything.

If they say they are reading the comments and try to explain why they’ve done it and state they want to see how it works out but have listened and will add portals later if they are really needed, still pitchforks!!!

I await all the shill comments because reason isn’t allowed. I’m actually really pleased they’ve noticed the outcry and have responded.

In seriousness, I’m not super bothered by this, slightly annoyed since I’m used to having all the portals, but I can live without them all.

I do wan’t 'em to bring back the Blasted Lands portal, though.

They said the idea behind the portal room in the capitals cities, they never explained how it would make the player experience better and more enjoyable.

I still don’t see the point of flying through empty zones when I had teleport before. I try hard, but I can’t see it.

Oh it will :stuck_out_tongue: You wait till all the anti Classic retail boiz try out Classic and moan on the forums how inconvenient it is and cannot understand why anyone would play it.

The thing is you can still portal almost anywhere, there really is barely anything that useful north of Dalaran Crater reallly… unless you are Scarlet mog farming.

CoT can be easily accessed by Uldum it’s literally a 1ish minute flight on a full speed mount.

I feel like the fuss is massively over exaggerated personally.

I can time this and prove you wrong.

Doesn’t take that long though, and the rep for the CoT portal lady is easy to get. Just buy rep tokens during TBC Timewalking.

I personnaly love the fact that portals will be removed. When I am doing my weekly raid runs, ICC, DS etc etc, it was littarly a portal hop, jump into raid and heartstone back to use the next portals.

But now I am forced to enjoy the sands of Tanaris again!

The “am forced” is in a positive way :wink:

I’m not fussed either, it’s not my first portal removal experience and the mess of portals all over the place needed something doing. I can understand people do get upset though.

I think you’ll just have to give it a whirl and continue to give feedback about how it’s affecting you. I can understand they want people to try it first.

There I can’t fly over the sands yet :wink: But still it is just an example. I do not mind to travel through the world as I do in the real world, next week to Egypt to see: MOAR S-A-N-D

Oh I would try first and tell after if I had any trust in Blizzard, but I don’t anymore.

They announced that portal room as gathering ALL portals in one room (which imo was dumb enough so that everything was concentrated in Stormwind instead of around the world)
But they take advantage of this change to remove portal, and announce it just a week before 8.1.5 so that we have little to say to their change.
I know that Blizzard is a private company and do what they want.
As a customer I have the right to dislike both the feature and the way they implement it in the game : ie: sneakily.

( btw if they really thought it was such a great idea they would have announced the removal of portals along with the portal room at the Blizzcon, but they didn’t, and we all know why)

good music! in any case in classic was good because all was new i enjoied all the km done to deliver a quest from north to south kd. The problem is now where im not having fun runnig and flyin in old well known zones.
I happy to have classic soon. there ill be glad to rewatch the old world.

Wouldn’t have been so bad if they moved along all the portals and didn’t try sneakily to remove some here and there with no warning.

I don’t think they do because they develop it but they don’t play it they have beta testers for that but even they don’t do their job properly :expressionless: look for example a drug dealer he sells the stuff but he does not use it himself.
