Tinderboxes are 250g now if some wanna make own enchants. Any craft I ever tip was 300g max. I agree the price of r3 enchants are not worth, dont buy them. I dont buy tokens either to buy them as that would be waste of irl money for one seasons overpized enchants.
No solution for enchants but for crafted gear just go with public crafting orders n use as cheap material as possible since PvE item lvl is irrelevant for PvP. I dont put any comission fee what so ever n i get all my items crafted.
Thing is, crafters need to craft stuff for their levels not to mention they can run resourcefulness to scalp some materials from your craft which cost them nothing. IĀ“ve no idea why people think they can demand comission for crafts that dont even cost them concentration.
I think they should let us demand a minimum quality in public orders aswell though n choose our own ācomission feeā, i hate having to type in trade chat only to have some greedy gold goblin ask for like 8k comission for the labour intensive task of pressing craft once.
Enchantments has crashed alot in price so theyĀ“re not so bad anymore n you can make good gold just from honor, one honor is worth 2.76G atm at the current rates of bloodstone so one epic BG giving say 800 honor is 2208g which isnt too bad. I still havent really put that many gems into my gear because i prefer the gold.
I have enough gold to buy t3 gems/enchants but I didnt bother because the difference in gold compared to the % increase was quite negligbleā¦ I assure you, you would not have noticed it at all
the games purpose it to make you spend money on it.
So they made this game insanely ALT friendly and then boosted up the pricesā¦
So in the end NOT alt friendly ā¦

things like these are bound to happen when things like wow tokens exist in game . they want people to make less gold and spend it in abundance so that they can sell their wow tokens to make extra money for themselves .
the subscription price has not gone up since beginning so they have found such things to cover that cost up .
ffxiv has done something similar .i can explain it but that will probably be not of much interest to alot of people here so i will not waste people time .
while morally you can say this practice is wrong but i dont think it is costing them in profit overall otherwise they would had changed it by now .
