it is not only classic related issue as the same bots are made for retail
people really can just google this, nobody provide links on forum as the last person was banned for it but anyone can look for themselves

I mean, when I look for pvp guides in google, I get ads for this stuff despite never having been on a website related to cheating, so yeah. It’s kinda out of control, if they can afford to pay for google ads like this.
So the issue with the number is mostly, where did they ban from?
Every single region?
Both classic and retail on every single region?
If so, on what region were the most bans?
Obviously the issue is not just classic, but blizz dont want to say if they ban people from retail for some reason. They like big numbers instead of saying “10000 banned from EU retail” - “20000 banned from NA classic” etc etc. So in the end, what they could have banned is maybe even just 10 from PvP which they dont say anything about.
So everything related to bans in retail/pvp is just pure guesswork even when we all know there is an issue with ppl cheating/botting in general.
But its also funny theres ppl who says everyone they loose against is cheating/botting.
But nobody in this thread said this though? Literally nobody. I simply say that it creates uncertainty, and it makes people unsure, whether someone plays well, or whether someone is cheating, which is very bad. It’s like in old ego shooters, where someone has insane aim, and you’re not sure, if they use an aimbot. That’s why valorant implemented riot vanguard, so the integrity is preserved and people assume that others play well.
ven seems to be the most audible celeb on crusade against botting when it comes to yt, i dont know how much the rest are bringing the attention on it in twitter as i dont use those
i believe raiku called out on some elemental bots atleast, but i think everyone knows pretty well by now that dragonflight has alot botting the reason for it is unclear but i blame it on shuffle, easyer to cheat and without having teammates to worry about i guess
fact is that there are more bots in df than there were before in earlier expansions so somehthing is the catalyst
Read before you write. My mention does not automatically mean it has to be someone on this particular post.
Ppl can be unsure, but instantly target it as cheating, Like There Are People Who Do isnt good either.
Oh ok, then it’s fine. I assumed it’s related to this post ^^
That was not the correct answer.
Idk maybe
Who the heck know what they are doing
Non of healers ever sed to me that someone cheating in arena where I’m currently
Personally I didn’t experienced any disturbance on myself.
sadly many people have been bringing attention to increased bots since df launch, this is why its important we dont derail them on the matter and idk we should try bring attention on it instead downplay the matter or derail it imo
its just our current reality we have to deal with and blizzard either isnt doing enough or they cant do so much about it
Move on boy I’m ignoring rogues in arena like they don’t exist no dmg at all.
Most of the time my pet outdmg them your things don’t work on me.
They are good for dueling only.
Agree these are all important questions we’d like answers to.
But I think this is pretty limp
because 130,000bot accounts is enormous compared to the active retail pvp community.
If we have even 1% of that in retail arenas, that’d be enough characters to entirely corrupt the +2.4 pool.
And the guesswork is that 1% being actual cheaters in PvP.
130,000 bots means 130,000 accounts. You have 1 bot per account.
If you played Lost Ark when it first released, you would know thats quite small amount considering WoW have Americas, Europe, Korea, Taiwan as regions, Korea im not too sure how many would cheat considering they need to use their own ID to create their account. China, what I know of, plays on EU or NA right now due to it being shut down there currently.
Then you have Classic and WOTLK classic added to it with their own, I believe, regions.
And we all know theres quite alot of bots farming in all regions in both classic and retail.
So in the end, as long as they do not say how many ppl are banned in retail, you have no clue how to calculate. Since noone knows if theres only 0.01% of cheaters in PvP that got hit with the wave. Dont even know if only 1% of those cheaters are in retail.
No info makes everything just a guesswork and assumption.
If even any of those who got banned were actual retail players, since it was posted in the classic section and no mention whatsoever on retail.
And we know, ppl who gets banned on retail usually are set to go again 1-7days after. So all those ppl banned every month may even be the same ppl who keep doing it over and over again. Funny right?
there isnt rly any point than agree that there is increase in botting in retail since dragonflight, anything else is just derailing the matter really
one would have to live in some own bubble insulated from any media related wow and not play the game self to not see any from it or the occasional guy with bot on your games
You keep calling it guesswork as though there weren’t entire industries built upon such data models.
Imagine a bookie giving me odds on this… lmao
Alright, then go ahead and tell me how many people got banned in retail and how many ppl of those were in our region and how many of those PvPed. I’ll wait
there isnt rly any point than agree that there is botting in retail, anything else is just derailing the matter really
Nah, I’m ok with you asserting pvp bot sites (+ illegal scripts ) have a “less than 1300 subscriptions”.
I just wanted to make it clear nobody should agree with you.
It’s actually 4.7k last time I checked lul
not just me then
Quit after going 0-2 first time I saw them
Then refused to heal me at 2.1 the second time I saw them
What was interesting was I was on a big win streak before that encounter ^
interesting
i dont understand the people who keep derailing or argueing against the matter that botting is increased in dragonflight when there rly isnt any point other than agree that there is botting in retail
