So basically, you have nothing backing you up on how many ppl in retail pvp is cheating.
I literally stated that 1 account means 1 bot. It means theres Alot of cheaters and bots running around, somehow that made it seem like im “underplaying” it.
So people should not agree with… what? Ive already said people are cheating in WoW. I dont agree with how you seem to use assumptions on how many is actually cheating in retail PvP. Big difference.
So with other words, you use a baseline classic forum post about banned accounts. You somehow use 1% of those to dictate PvP cheaters or how many it could be without actually knowing anything. Telling me its not guesswork and assumptions you are doing while not being able to provide anything else.
I have no clue where to move forward since u refuse to give details on where you find all the details that I havent seen widespread.
And then declaring people should not agree with me wanting information that shows more details on how many ppl got banned in retail and in PvP because you somehow already know that.
i wonder which kind of insulated bubble you look into wow if you have missed all the talk of increased botting in dragonflight so far blasted literally everywhere from twitter to yt from alot higher and experienced players than the average forum user here
every argument you have habbit on start in forums are always off topic and not really important on the matter, just derailing, also someone who play the game as little shoudnt argue with people so much about issues related the game itself
I see you have finally hide yourself but before that you were 1.6 for entire season and even that were shuffles and your total rounds played for the whole season were 32 on a sp so one character yet the loudest argumentor and “know it all” on forum, some find this annoying like me example
fact of the matter still remain tho that there are increased ammount of botting through dragonflight and argumenting against it is derailing the matter as its so prominent since df that there rly isnt any point other than agree with botting existing in df
I don’t need to know the next card on the deck to know the probability of making a fullhouse.
1% was not meant to be treated as a hard figure. Quite the opposite, I’m expecting most readers to think it absurd.
I’m using it to illustrate just how few (of the proven to exist retail pvp bots) it would take to corrupt retail arenas. The amount of players +2.4 is just too low to dilute much bot activity at all.
How many ele (for instance) could 1 account with a bot put on the ladder?
Difference being you know how many cards are involved and what they are.
In WoW theres regions and classic which you dont know how many in there is the cheaters.
My entire line was, I want to know the information on:
How many cheaters is in classic.
How many cheaters is in retail.
How many cheaters is in EU.
How many cheaters is in NA.
People can bring up any kind of number they want, and they can all be wrong with either a huge margin or even a low margin.
This would have been fully understandable if the ban post were added to also retail instead of just classic or if they gave any info on how many in either of those regions. We have no clue if all those banned accounts were purely only classic which makes it annoying (for my part to read).
I hate how blizz operates with this part. They just love big numbers so they all (most likely) mashed it together just to give a “big impact”.
Yes, you dont rly need that many cheaters/botters/boosters to ruin a ladder for the rest. Same with wintraders where its mostly focused on Prot Palas due to how easy it is.
Depends. If they are actual complete idiots they would use several ele shammies on the same account. And it can be as many as they want unless blizz hits them with the banhammer. And its not solely ele shammies sadly.
If they had any kind of brain, they would do it with 1 character per account.
While I do agree with you that it could be alot of cheaters/botters in PvP and with just a fraction of those numbers being implied to be retail bans, then it would be already “huge danger”.
The only issue I have with those numbers, is how blizz purposely hide away the fact on how many is being banned in the different regions and between classic/retail.
Id love for them to actually announce how many is being punished for EU retail for example.
Yes, I fear, that they fear, to tell us the numbers on retail sadly.
These bots don’t effect me directly. I play exclusively healer SS so DPS bots would just be another 3-3. My end of the pool is probably deep enough to dilute it anyway.
I’m too glued to my UI to actually spot bot behaviour >_<
But the 6-0 sub rogs regularly cruising through the teens suddenly seemed to disappear overnight. Coincidence perhaps.
This is most likely true, its either such a low number that ppl will look at them like they are dumb or its such a huge number that ppl gets put off ^^
Im def not the best person, and I dont rly play too much since aug evokers got introduced since it kinda put me off from playing in general. Dont think ive even done a single m+ since aug evokers release (lol).
I think it depends between bots tbf, you can either have the easy noticeable one where they auto run/stand still and you have a more difficult one to detect that ppl move themselves. Just the always the same % defensive or the same kind of interrupt at the exact same time on your casts can be a telling.
I just havent played enough to see them myself though, just some “suspicions” but thats all x)
But man, id love if blizz could announce retail bans and who they are banning in PvP.
