Reasons To Quit Shadowlands

[War Mode]
Because “tagging” has not yet been fixed, War Mode ruins the game experience when trying to level and/or complete any open world quests. If you have WM enabled, you get ganked … repeatedly. If you have WM disabled, you are surrounded by orange-named players who tag EVERY single mob in sight with massive AOE attacks or while running around spaming instant-cast abilities. For every 10 mobs the enemy players gets, I might get 1 mob! This makes those gathering 20 quest items extremely tedious. The worst culprits are druis with their starfall aoe. I feel that you’re almost forced to play WM on just to get quests done.
Solution? - Simple! Allow BOTH factions to tag mobs and get credit. What a simple and easy solution. It’s mind blowing why this isn’t already implemented. Personally, I’d like to see WM removed and the return of PvP servers, but many people enjoy WM, so the “tagging” fix seems the best compromise.

[Tank Damage]
It’s so demoralizing entering a dungeon, and seeing the tank pulling huge groups, taking almost no damage, while keeping himself alive without a healer and topping the damage meters. I mean, why bother bringing a group if you’re that good? Tanks should be doing barely more damage than a healer can. The DPS job is to DPS.

[Pure DPS Classes]
As a Rogue, that can ONLY fulfill the role of “DPS”, why am I not able to take any one of my 3 talent trees and perform that assigned role? It’s so frustrating being forced to play a certain cookie cutter spec. Furthermore, why are hybrid classes able to achieve the same if not way more DPS than a class that can only perform DPS? Why bother playing a Rogue then?

[Rogue]
So bored of fighting “average” mobs in the world, and getting the snot kicked out of me when I agro more than 1! Constaltly energy-starved and unable to damage anything because I’m waiting 30seconds for my next ability.

Overall, I don’t enjoy shadowlands. The lore is interesting, and I was blown away by the zones and sceney. But the game experience sucks and I am not enjoying it at all.

So… A horde ROGUE complaining about being ganked in warmode? You have literally all the tools to stay out of the opposite faction’s sight, and thanks to current balance you have all the tools to brutally assassinate any player, and still you complain?

Come on now, there are people who may have a right to complain but it probably isn’t a horde, and it certainly is not a rogue!

First of all every reason you said I DIDNT NOT EXPERIENCE NOT EVEN 5% but it seems you experince it every minute… I dont remember lats time I had problems with tag mobs with WM OFF, sure mobs get tagged and gray but plenty of them are left for me to grab.

Who does that?

so with all dmg you have you ALSO WANT to self heal like blood dk and to prevent dmg like prot pala?
But isnt " harder open world" what players wanted? I can say Im also struggling with this rogue but that is only lack of gear which could be your case too

Try killing the person that’s taggng ‘your’ mobs.

AoE isn’t the same as Single Target…

Hybrids, this isn’t Classic… DPS is DPS.

If my tank does that then fair play to him, it either makes me more competitive, or I can kick back and relax a little although it’s rare, I’ve only seen a prot pally do it on trash packs where he can burst, other than that it’s very rare.
Just try harder I guess

Thanks for opening my eyes, I’ll uninstall it as soon as I get home.

Me!

I officially claim your gold

None of these are reasons to quit shadowlands imo.

But if there is one reason why I might consider giving it up, time-gating the storyline.

I mean, once a week I get 30 mins of storyline. I’ve already lost interest in that story because I’ve forgotten what it’s about.

Level 60 is all World Quests, Grinds and Instances and everything is shut behind a weekly gate.

Although the 50-60 story campaign was really good. Usually, after hitting max level of an expansion I would grind out all the remaining story quests in my spare time. Or pick a zone I hadn’t done when levelling an alt. BFA was really good for this, because you had both the Alliance and Horde campaigns.

However, in SL, once you complete the 50-60 campaign. You are stuck with 30 mins per week, because Blizz wants you to keep buying month subscriptions. I’ve already forgotten what the story is about.

Great, you can split it.
I’ll send you both a list with my creditors and what I’m owing them.
Good to find someone who will take my debts on himself, and then there’s two.

Don’t give these dudes your gold. Clearly you should use it all to buy tokens and spend it on CoD games… that seems more up your alley, no tanks to p you off there!

I’d ask for your gold, but you’ll be needing it.

Fair point, but it’s always been the way that one spec is better than another, in various content.

Not sure if it’s an Assassination thing?

Certainly not this way with Sub at least. Things are blowing up (and have been all xpac).

Can’t say for Outlaw :man_shrugging:t2:

Will you quit?

Or will u still play even if u criticized it?

Do you move to other hobbies or games? Or continue to dislike and still play?

Wish u all the best!

Outlaw is as bad as ever. Never good enough for PvP, fine for dungeons but weak for raids.
I tried rolling the two other specs, but I just hate their play style.
I’ve learnt to deal with it, though.

If you want an even harder time finding tanks then sure. Would instantly quit tanking if I did zero dps because optimizing your dps while staying alive is what makes tanking fun.

Sucks, that’s a shame. Hopefully Outlaw will get some love if it needs it then.

Or if not, hopefully you learn to get on with the other specs. I had similar in BfA where Sub was rubbish.
