Recent DDoS Attacks Impacting Game Service

After the attack, Golemagg realm went down two times, and now LAYERING SEEMS TO BE OFF FOR GOLEMAGG, as everywhere are extreme ammounts of players, and I have to wait for respawn of every single mob.
Will Blizz react to it somehow?

They did by opening free transfer.

I would like to experience that just for academic purposes

No one cares about DDOS attack. What are your plans about Drahonfang/Earthshatter being dead?
Stop trying to diversion people and do your job.

It’s not dead, it’s growing every day. People need to give it some time, low servers don’t become full overnight. Join the discord, get involved and be social

Lol? They dont? They why did all the others get full instantly when opened shortly after launch or next day? Migrations should have been to any lower pop realm opened at the same time. Bad move from blizzard, again.

While I agree the new realms should have probably been opened earlier, the comparison you’re making is completely different. Once people settle on a server, it’s a more difficult choice to move to another especially when there are friends and guilds involved. In a situation like this, the realm population grows but it’s more of a trickle rather than an explosion of transfers. It might be low pop but it’s definitely growing there’s no doubt about that.

Since this started happening, I can no longer play wow when I’m away from home - I normally run a ssh tunnel to a raspberry pi at home and proxy my connection through that - works perfectly on any wifi (especially ones which normally limit you to ports 80/443 etc).

Now I get stuck “Logging on to game server” after I have chosen my server :frowning:
