Reclaiming Gilneas... I should have known it would be a let down

It’s good that scarlet crusade is a punching bag, would’ve been 3x worse if it was a legitimate threat. On what basis? They are basically destroyed after cata

Forsaken and any other Horder does not want to help Worgen and Alliance to get back Gilneas. Blizz story writers want that.

You do know that in the forsaken ranks are gilneans that were raised during the previous war against their will? They have all rights to fight for their homeland, even in undeath. Do they not deserve their moment in the sun, after sacrificing their life and death for their homeland?

Not to mention, that Calia and Ross didn’t take any part in Gilneas war.

The scarlet crusade was always a cancer that we never got to fully remove, and I am afraid never will, as religious nutjobs will never cease to exist. They are now extreme humanist, and worgen are not fully human/tainted.

Lastly, the big heroes saving the day and being powerhouses are alliance affiliated. We got green Jesus back in a weakened form, but we don’t have a Anduin, windrunner, light knight shiny racist dude, Jaina, Tyrande, Malfurion and so on, on horde side. Every major power was killed, exiled or weakened. So don’t get the walk in sunshine bs… Alliance has always the glory moments while horde normally gets a leader we have to kill off together.

Could have been worse: Genn + Calia making out :'D

Consider yourself lucky haha

Yep - made me smile too!

I am dying at the avatar, something happened with the pixels, it looks like your avatar wearing blackface :dracthyr_hehe:

Glenn is a married man.
Infidelity in Wow? Can’t have that.

Calia seems to have something for Jainas brother.

Can one guy really stop the rest of the writing team from being garbage though?

Until everybody involved in DF writing is fired, there is no hope for WW.

While the quest line definitely could have taken a lot more work (it should have been a season story of its own perhaps, maybe as S4 content just saying!) alongside with the armor set should have been focused on the commoners/theme Genn has as clothing, I have to say that I do like that:

  • Gilneas was addressed (even half-baked)
  • The Live Render cutscenes were well animated
  • That Genn Greymanes daughter got more screentime (She and her mother barely were relevant before that)
  • I like the idea of Gilneas having a Queen instead of a king. Truly bri’ish moment there :tea:

But Tess was in many quest leading with intelligence. I would say she was relevant before. Like the brain behind the King.

Seems like I have missed those when playing. Where they part of Cataclysm content?

In legion where a few quests with her (uncrowned) . Then she was in BFA in Darkshore aiding the Kaldorei. Alot of rogue quests are with her, after all she is the shadow of Gilneas. She appears in the novels and in the comic too.

Being a rogue she just takes actions more couscously than her father, who goes with his head through the wall.

I am not playing a Rogue. So I wouldn’t encounter those quests anyways as Paladin most of the time.

Even better. Alliance was long overdue a more discrete Queen that works from the shadows rather than the spotlight.

Yes. Not to mention the future of Gilneas and Loarderon. They have to coexist. They are geographically to close. Constant war is not an option. No Valkyr means no more Forsaken, and the Gilneas aren’t that many. So a war is just not in the interests of both. Having 2 friends on opposing side(Calia and Tess) surely helps.

I am also happy that the future leader of the Nelfs is friends with Voss. Maybe the Forsaken can arise from their original name to something new. After all they took that name cause Noone acknowledged their right and existence in WC3

Guess it’s time for Metzen to come up with a new name.

The artists formerly known as Forsaken?

And they lived ( Forsaken and Worgens ) happily years after. Boring and so pollitically correct. A waste of time.

Because riding on the same conflict is interesting? Not to mention just illogical. No race, kingdom or faction survives a war intact. If it goes for long, the original cause vanishes or is changed to not be recognized. That the nature of time. Things change. The nature of war, is that it ends. People become tired of fighting, fearing and just scraping by. By one mean or another, war ends. Being it by peace or eradication.

A constant war would mean never changing. The definition of boredom.

That’s harsh man XD

Leave the poor man alone. He quit because of burnout, you don’t have to label it quite literally as undead
