Refund for character boost that's been used on a full server

Earlier today, I created & boosted a character on my server, which I was able to log on without problems. Now, after lunch, the queue is filled with over 9k players. I tried transferring my character to another realm, but got the error that the character has been boosted too recently. Now I found out, that boosted chars have a 3 day cooldown for transfers. The thing is, I only purchased the boost to play WOTLK for a few days, which I have taken vacation for. Now I can’t. Do you think I can get a refund? If so, I could buy a second boost and create a character on another realm. Are there any possible solutions?

Customer Support cannot bypass any of the above restrictions, nor assist with any mistakes using a boost.
