Regarding Man'ari

They do.

They don’t, they play the game like PVE counter strike, boring. And they also scream “Lore doesn’t matter anymore” So I guess Blizzard is also trying to somewhat balance us and them.

I am literally against this to be a thing and considered quiting. However I had so damn huge headaches and countless of pointless discussions all over internet already about the warlocks. I don’t want to again. If they will be cleansed and not accepted well I can cope with it and, it will not be that disastrious than accepting literal demons.

I didn’t mean you -you- here, my apologies. Still, yes most players will just grab their new skintone and just be happy with it.

I don’t think them being purged of “most of the fel” to the point where they’re just like Green Orcs where it’s just the lingering remnants of having been around it like second hand smoking, they’re inviting back in the people part of the Burning Crusade. I mean Orcs under the influence of demons have done some damn awful things that would warrant them no level of mercy, which I think was pretty cool of King Terenas and the Dalaran nation to just put them in internment camps but what the Eredar did is simply is on a whole other scale.

Can´t even blame him, it´s peak aesthetic. Used it on a big bad eredar NPC this week and dear God, I was magnificent.
Shame I can´t dress like that to work in real life, it´s infinitely superior to business casual.

I am sure you can remove Fel completely from someone, but you can’t revert all of the mutations it had done. Those however should be weaker and weaker trough generations. Someone here even said that Orcs are starting to lose the green skin. Not sure how true it is.

Agree, it is what it is… fan service. The story will not be satisfying but redeeming them seems to me at least as a compromise between fan service and huge demand of red skin and not accepting literal demons. It still shouldn’t have been a thing.
Here I somewhat summirized what I expect.

I can also add:
Player: That’s it? Pretty cheap.

Just speedrunning the orc redemption arc once we actively ignore the vast gulf of difference in scope of genocide(s).

People were asking for Eredar options when we should’ve been demanding felblood elf and fel orc options for those two races!!!

Leper gnome skins for gnomes,
Frostborne skin for dwarves,
Earthen skin for dwarves!!!

ACTUAL ULDUAR MECHAGNOME OPTIONS FOR MECHAGNOMES!!!

People keep saying that Man’ari Eredar have been carrying out genocides for millennia, but during the quests in WoD you also have regular draenei from the various towns converting to become Man’ari. Clearly, not everyone have been on the genocide train since the Argus station.

Doesn’t really justify anything, but since scale has been repeatedly brought up as a major difference between Man’ari and other redeemed evil factions, I figured I would mention it.

As far as I know, they were culled. It’s true that demons transcend realities and these fresh ones wouldn’t have that much crimes behind them. But that will surely not be the case.

They were defeated and the whole plot is basically about pushing the Draenei a second time back into the Legion’s hands, but even so a herald with a lower or no body count urging you to join a galaxy wide purging of all life isn’t all that better either on the karmic balance.

Plus It’s WoD it doesn’t matter… Yet.

Ultimately I do think Blizzard is on its way to make everything a free for all and the faction paradigm is the only (flimsy) barrier keeping them from doing so.

Yes, they are sanboxicating the game. All races will be able to be all classes is the begining, then removing faction barriers completely, hopefuly not much else.

Then we have alternate draenor and its counterpart people seemingly fated to end up in similar places to their true timeline selves and exarch Othaar becoming Socrethar in two universes.

Do they fight in the nether to decide who gets to be the real one?

Or they merge into one!

Yes that is stupid, especially considering how they’d need to erase all life not just from one universe, but from all the timelines as a single Void Lord corrupting a titan would destroy all of reality - and you need only one occurrence and BAM, all universes are doomed. So how many timelines are there? Seems an impossible task.

And also - if the AU timelines get to merge into one, shouldn’t we have a demonic Illidan to fight in the Nether too? Seeing how the Nether is beyond timelines, a single Illidan who gets corrupted would do the trick. And we know there is atleast one who was corrupted. Same thing for all of the Azerothian peeps.

It also makes you wonder - if the Legion that invades Draenor AU is the same Legion, why don’t they make it so that they can invade our world in the past, before we have all these super dupe armies?

As usual, players overthinking what wasn’t even considered. Just look at Velen and Nozdormu’s prophetic abilities amounting to working toward a desired outcome as anyone might regardless of ability rather than making such visions problematic and difficult.

Oh no, a vision of (beloved hero) turning mostrously evil! Intervention time or do we push our hero off a cliff?

What Levey said, for the sake of your sanity don’t think about it otherwise you’ll drive yourself nuts.

Also, please. Don’t say this loud or it might be a thing… :eyes:

I’m just left thinking of what could have been if Velen had a vision of death knight anduin way in advance and we were spurred to stop him from “falling”, colliding with zovaal’s inscrutable plan across untold millennia.

But prophets are truly useless when all we can do is self-fulfilling rather than exceptional events messing with plans and True Timelines.

He’ll be summoned for late night conversations and the odd board game.

This reminded me, players asked for the “real” Mechagnomes from Ulduar … and they got…
