They haven done anything for PvP during this whole Shadowlands pre-era. They will not do anything to PvP until 10.x the earliest. They havent done any improvement to WoW PvP after MoP Prideful era. So they will not start caring about it now. People in charge could not care less.
nobody said things were super fine on beta but if beta has its own problems why should blizzard care about completely different problems who only exists on prepatch and have nothing to do with lvl 60 Shadowlands Gameplay?
If a warrior twoshots you on prepatch with Slam my answer is still “relax its prepatch” because the azerith BFA traits are doing that.
If i see a rogue oneshotting someone on beta my answer is “nerf or remove these trinkets asap”

Because it still is actually game right now. I clearly pay for a game and company should deliver quality product. Its because of players like you who gave blizzard this free excuse to don’t care about pre-patch at all. Google what pre-patch means and tell me where you will read “Broken state of game which is abandoned because game dev is working on other thing”, Wait you won’t so stop spreading your nonsense. If you are fine with a status of a money making tool fine by me, but i won’t gonna pretend everything is normal like you.

hows the game more broken in the prepatch state than it’s been since years?
Problems always exist, but when you talk about it in pre-patch you get bashed for it because “its just a pre-patch btw, blizzard shouldn’t care about it and they should focus on upcoming expansion and you costumer who is paying a money for 2 month of pre-patch shell pretend everything is fine”. I actually dont care at all about prepatch balance because there is no active season. No rewards, nothing. Why should they put resources in something which has zero competetive background. They should put their resources in beta pvp testing(what they are not really doing lol) and not in prepatch.
prepatch has been like that for 15 years. Of course you can come every 2 years to the forums and cry about it or you just unsub next time. There will always be a transition phase between an old and the new expansion. If you want to play competetive during that time than WoW is not your game.

So don’t sub for the one month pre-patch is live. If you can’t stand Crushing Assault, Avenger’s Might etc. why stick around? All of it is going in the bin in 1½ week.

Are you this narrow about everything in life? Just wondering. You see, the solution could be having a well balanced game 365 days per year but why advocate for that and chose the best solution when we can just opt for the worst solution and have a bad product during 2 months every 2 years, all we gotta do is unsub during those 2 months if we’re not happy right? Child.
Here is a steak and there is a bone, we all know what you’re gonna pick, I guess if I was Activision I would also be exploiting poor consumer habits the way you people encourage them to. I mean I understand some people may be fine with paying for a subpar product during a period of time, but to defend the actual practice and the supplier and to criticise the customers who think they are being ripped off is just sad.

Just because you don’t care doesn’t mean it should be so. Why should they put resources in something which has zero competitive background you ask? Because it’s still actual game which you have for 2 month and the competitive background should’t be a reason to balance a game at all. Just because you don’t have arena season doesn’t mean gave should be abandoned and let to rot just rot. How about they make whole pre-patch f2p since as you say game is irrelevant in pre-patch state.
Sorry i don’t want to look like a rude person but when i read your posts i assume that you clearly are used to be disrespected by a company as a costumer. As a costumer you have a right to ask game dev to balance things which clearly is broken and no, if multibillion company can’t make a changes which literally everyone can notice who have working brain than it’s pretty clear what needs to be done inside of company. Doesn’t matter if its a pre-patch, after-patch, without-patch or whatever it can be.
Sorry karanze but with that logic you might not subscribe to game at all since beta looks very bad pvp wise. I bid you farewell.
This is just an incredible dumb arguement, its nowhere near the same.
There will always be some problems during the transition phase between expansions. Whoever takes the pre-patch period serious, should re-evaluate alot of things. There is NOTHING going on during prepatch, except test some stuff out and maybe level an alt.
Its stuff like this, that makes blizzard think “you think you do, but you dont”. People crying about imbalanced stuff during prepatch, shows blizzard that there will always be people crying about something. Even though that most people know it obviously wont last for long. If people chose their battles more carefully, maybe blizz would listen when we actually have a problem.

- you guys act like you cant play the game during prepatch? Game is more bursty yes but its not one class which is dominating and oneshotting everyone. You can still play arena its just not perfectly balanced because it would not make sense to balance a game for 4 weeks with no season or tournaments and after these 4 weeks there is a completely different game. Why whould they put so much time in that. They are super behind in fixing beta stuff. They seemingly have limited resources. Someone who works on prepatch pvp cant work on beta pvp.
You can still play the game, test your class, level a few classes, do the prepatch event or play some casual arena.
Where do you want balance? in 3vs3 situations i assume since this is the arena forum. Well there is NO ACTUAL SEASON. THERE IS NO COMPETETION. Nobody cares about rating or anything its a WASTE of time to put resources to balance many specs for 3 weeks of UNRATED PvP. If they did they also have to balance Raid and M+ performances which is a super big task and takes much effort and resources for like 1 month of NON competetive content. How can you not understand that?
I am the first person who is attacking blizzard when they are doing a bad job. (they are doing a bad job at SL Beta pvp balance right now) but not balancing 36 specs in prepatch for one month of content nobody cares about is definitely not blizzards mistake and if you guys cant see that then i dont know.

It is pretty logical though, if you don’t like it then don’t buy it. You knew what you were sinking money in to.
Not that I agree we should just leave the game like this on beta, but you’re complaining about stuff that’s going to be fixed anyway.

Guys prepare for turbo. Recent enha 35% damage and healing buff did it’s job. Ofc it was nullified with Some Stormstike/WF talents nerfs but it’s insane. Enha healing as much as healers. Can’t wait to see Arena forums sh*t show.
Would that be impossible at all? Being narrow is not being able to see a bigger picture or seeing it but choosing to ignore it, that’s what some people here are doing. So how surprising would that be if people are the same way over other things in life when it can just be the result of a personality trait?
