Farms like skinning 2x4 and other similar farms that you can see in custom premade groups destroyed solo farming like herbalism and mining… please remove 2x4 and and only let players farm in 5 peoples groups.
Hyperspawning should be removed, or at the very least seriously toned down to a minimum time respawn cap and not this instant respawning upon kill…
It was a feature introduced to deal with overcrowding before Sharding. It’s purely exploited now.
Yeah a lot of things they did for the benefit of the game have turned out to benefit bots or increase the negative impact of bots on the game. War mode, sharding and the ability to basically at will change a shard, hyperspawn, multiple people able to mine a node and even skin a creep now. Region-wide AH…
I forgot something surely.
There seems to be no desire to deal with these problems actively. Soon we will just accept it as it is and become desensitized to it. And then actual trained bots will arrive who converse with you in a way you could never tell
Or those mobs should only drop quest items and not be skinnable.
I agree, but the main thing that devalues solo farming is still botting.
i really missed mounting up and just flying arround farming abit of herbs/mines and actually being able to earn a decent amount of gold that way.
was one of my favorite relaxing things to do while just listening to stuff/watching on second monitor.
Laps around Uldum at night in Cata on my Mining/Herbalism Druid was super chill – and quite rewarding.
Totally pointless to do anything like that today.
The whole gathering is pointless
Pull the root of the problem, delete the farming skills and leave only the crafting ones and make the materials buyable from the crafting vendor for trivial coppers
That handfull of people would cry who have nothing better to do than spend hours of farming and then sit the AH sniping prizes but they are a sacrifice I am willing to make
It’s got its place at the start of an expansion though if you want to make a huge profit… people would still buy at stupid prices.
or blizzard could just ban the bots, dont tell me its that hard, its very east to spot a cluster of 5 druids flying arround for 24 hours a day farming herbs for 1 silver each.
but a sub is a sub i guess?
Exactly, those bots still net Blizzard money hence why they do these pointless PR ban waves every few months. Blizz made their money, the botters theirs to return a hundred more bot accounts per banned account.
i said this so many times.
i have created a topic about this 1-2 days ago too.
2x4
1x5/
multiboxing with or without program .
these things should go away they should put them against the tos.
look when emerald dream zone came out i was ready to go there and play it solo but as soon as i arrived there i saw multiple 1x5 -2x4 iranian groups ruining it for me and destroying wow economy at the same time.
i dont pay much for this game people but you . you guys are paying all the time. ask them ask them why are they still allowing these in wow
i was in emerelad dream zone only for 6 hours and that was it. DF is going to be over soon and i never went to that new zone again
its 2024 wake up people
Yep, botting will only increase in intensity.
Exactly. I’ve suggested it before, but happy to repeat:
Spawning should happen at two levels. One is the normal spawn rate, and the other is accelerated. If a mob is spawned due to the accelerated rate that normally would not be spawned, it should get a debuff informing that this is the case, and it will drop nothing but quest items.
Every time the regular rate spawner spawns, it will instead check if there is already a mob with the debuff and remove that debuff if so. Otherwise it spawns a normal mob without the debuff.
Solved.
Exactly. Stuff cost 50k to craft, and you get 50s/herb
That’s a brilliant idea.
I remember the bots under the ground in Vashj’ir from day one. You may not have seen them but they have always been there.

Yeah but I think back then it was more on a per-server basis. So one server could have a lot of bots and goldsellers and other servers could have less. And then you could even have a disparity between factions.
My server and faction weren’t too affected by it at the time, if I recall correct. Like, you could still farm materials and sell them for a decent price.
Now that everything is merged and consolidated it doesn’t really matter what server or faction you’re on. We’re all in the same boat and suffer the bots the same.
I’m still confused why there are always druid bots in Revedreth atm farming a hyperspawn spot near the Banewood, surely it can’t be that profitable?

they are getting trash raw gold.
for example each realm is for one guy with multiple accounts
