Goes to show that the spike of activity on the ladder in regards to warriors was mostly just people main logging to see if it’s viable. Sure it does damage but at higher ratings you’re just a training dummy.
Solo shuffle is not an indicator of skill/viability whatsoever. Its a meme bracket with no relevance whatsoever to actual performance.
I didn’t see this but yeah, I feel in 2s for example (which is still a bit of a meme bracket), the game mode is completely unplayable on classes that rely on sustain etc. Because it doesn’t matter what you do, your healer or you will just get tunneled down by an assa rogue, warrior or something else with a big mortal wound that basically deletes all healing from the game 1,5minutes in
Taking MS away from classes like Havoc, Demo, Assas and some others wouldn’t necessarily make the classes bad. It would just stretch the duration of the matches a bit, and take away from the immediate oppressive nature of the classes. + When you remove the mortal wounds you actually open up the avenue for further buffs, new functions and additional changes.
When the MS is as strong as it is, you can only do so much to a class to ensure it doesn’t break off the rails and completely destroy the ladder.
Addressing on hindsight, to a decree I agree. - But as we’ve seen, the damage of arms has already been gutted a fair bit, taking away from the meme 1shots and favoring sustain instead.
Noone is denying that fact. I need its important to keep in mind that lots of the complaints towards the spearcombo could be coming from Soloshufflers where communicating proper responses can be a bit of a challange sometimes. However I’m not suggesting a change based on these complaints, just saying that that might be one of the reasons of the rise of complaints regarding that ability.
I’d personally love to see freedom effects work on spears, but if that would make the talent unplayable… I can’t say.
I think it’s combination of dampening ramping up, the high mortal damage and Sharpen, three factors working together to make warriors feel oppressive.
Possible, yes. But tweaking with CDs/possibly range on charge etc. could be an opportunity without turning warriors into wheelchair-users.
Tldr mate. But in case you haven’t heard of the changes next week… a lot of classes have ms effects that stack with each other. Spriests psy fiend for instance… it currently stacks with other ms effects. This is not intended, and will be fixed next reset.
Okay, if we go by this logic, then just like in TBC, where arms was one of the very few classes with MS effect, should have one charge (intercept) and one intervene. That’s it. No 2 charges, no leap. You can even get your stun on charge back lmao.
personally i think all melee should keep their dmg, but i think they should lose gap closers so they could be punished for just wasting closers zug zugging
No, damage is fine, just make it so warrior has one charge and one intervene, with no leap or anything. So warrior will go back to his 10% uptime as he should.
