Wrong bet. I just find it hilarious one can cheat like that and still call it hardcore
as everybody can do it, who cares. Other games have some other mecanics. In D3 yu can have up to three āDead Saversā. in D2, you can create a TP at any time, even in boss fights.
and as for WoW. You donāt need petri - just leave the Character stuck window in Background and let your char ported, if you in trouble, but you have to be fast.
The game would be different and raids would be much more demanding since you would probably have to re-level an entire raid group for every big mistake instead of just a few people.
Iām not sure if itās a better experience, but I would still play on a hc server without Petri as long as itās a rule for everyone 
That being said I donāt mind it being in the game and I donāt think itās cheating
