Remove rated Solo Shuffle would drastically improve PVP

2v2 has always been my favorite pvp game mode. Especially when both teams are healer/DPS.
But that is just my experience of the game.

I think that allowing the players to choose their poison is the way to solve these issues.

Let’s look at csgo. You get to pick the map and you can join the que solo or with a team.

Correct me if I’m wrong here but the game then tries to match players together based on those choices. Eg grouped players with a map choice match are pooled together until you have 5v5 on the same map.
Picking one map that isn’t popular will increase the que time and picking dust2 will be insta.

Now having to consider rating in that makes the pool much smaller. But we can look at that later.

How can we use this in wow? Keep 2v2 3v3 and rgb but allow solo que in all of them.

2v2 = max 1 healer, no tanks. Able to que solo and select the role you want for a partner. Caster, melee, or healer.
The game should try to match players that are already a party of 2 together first and so on.

3v3 = max 1 healer, no tanks and the same idea.

Rgb = 1 tank required, 2 healers required and no limits the 7 DPS in terms of caster/melee meaning you can pick 7 melee if you want.
The game should try to match groups with the same party sizes first then fill after some time if needed.

Now I know the que times would likely increase in most cases with this idea, but it would be the players choice mostly and the current meta.

Rating is going to make que times long but not as much as you may think. Look a SS ques 2k+. Sometimes only 15min.
And that’s not even with the addition of players that don’t play SS.

Final addition to this would be to test out how it would work if you could pick the class and role you want as your teammate/s.

I think testing this on a ptr would be very interesting. A small pvp only arena and bg ptr would be a good idea.

U cant imagine what players I was able to carry to 1800 2s and what gear they had…it says nothing to me

I am ok with shuffle being there as source of conquest…but making it rated - meh u cant take seriously anything ppl got there except for r1…meanwhile it is bad for 2s and 3s health

Solo q is pure crap

you only proved 2s cannot be taken serious , though I wasnt carried , it is the most disgusting someone could ever do. Also I like 2s as well but theres no way this is more ‘rated’ than solo shuffle imo.

I like Solo Shuffle, it is an convenient format for players with busy schedules, and regarding the queues, the longest I’ve had were 15 to 20 minutes .

Whether people want to stick to their 2s and 3s by all means, do so, but removing Solo Shuffle wouldn’t be the right move.

what r u talking about??? u where chalanger in SLands and sudenly shuffle appears and boom rival…“wasnt carried” by what? mmr system? everyone can get those 1600 2s 3s…

Something Blizzard still fails to understand.

How are they failing to understand it when that is exactly what the casuals can do?

So remove all what you dont like and keep what you prefer. Ok

It is WAY too easy getting Conq/Gear in Solo! And now we don’t have a Conq cap either! Though PvPing with some hardcore PvP gear on a class you always wanted to try, but never had the time to is fun though, like, if you have other classes you want to try out in PvP you can get to that point easily.
I must say I enjoy that bit.

It’s arguably more difficult then premade arenas.
10+ years mates playing together in premade, yeah that’s serious.

Solo shuffle is the only mode the vast majority of players have access to
If anything solo shuffle and in the future, solo rbgs is what the average player wants, no one wants to play jump through the hoops like they’re applying for a tech company for 4 hours every night just to play a video game

I massively disagree

Shuffle deters Average / Casual players because 20+ minute ques and the amount of toxicity makes PVP not fun to que unless you play FOTM to make your life more streamline.

Literally the amount of DH players now is absurd because its the easiest spec to play in solo shuffle

Queue times for shuffle are long, maybe, but you’re guaranteed to get get to play the game at some point. Applying in LFG you could go 2 minutes or 2 weeks before finding someone willing to play with you, and they only have to commit one game before it’s back to tinder to find your next arena hookup

There is just no solving the social problems of LFG, so shuffle it is

I’ve had it with LFG and the endless hunt for a “cool mate.” Solo Shuffle is where it’s at for me. It fits my schedule, no need to butter anyone up or endure the drama of losing a few points.

Solo Shuffle is the real deal for learning and improving. No more wasting time looking for the perfect team, just straight into playing, learning from mistakes, and getting better. It’s about skill improvement, not just hunting for wins to boost egos.

Thanks to Blizzard for Solo Shuffle. It’s a game-changer. If I mess up, I learn and move on. No fuss, just me getting better at my own pace. It’s refreshing to focus on personal growth without the extra noise.

Pretty much this.

Solo shuffle is WAY better than LFG in normal arena

WAY BETTER

if they removed SoloQ i would remove my subscription.

Everytime I q shuffle i have atleast 1 egotistical person that is hardstuck in 2s/3s/Shuffle is 300 cr lower then me in any bracket and they still have a ego towards me, because I don’t grind the legend title (fun fact I got flamed on my fdk today that doesnt have s2/s3 legend but is the highest fdk of that respective ssn) so in my opinion, if people wouldnt get a ego from shuffle it would be fine

Ppl get an ego from anything these days. Its a personality problem, not a bracket problem.
