Solo queuing for a BG is equivalent of signing up for Raid/Dungeon finder on retail.
Signing up for content like this and having no social consequences if you do not perform or help your teammates is not within the spirit of vanilla. Cross realm is one thing but automating teams like this has never belonged in a social game like world of warcraft.
By removing this LFR-esque system will greatly improve the quality of battlegrounds and people will form meaningful relationships within the game.
Edit: Oh and it would have a huge positive effect against botting in pvp.
Hurt their feelings? Premading is for complete losers who need to roll face on casuals just trying to play a few BGs to have fun or get a little honour.
Why would people want to carry people that play worse than bots, or in some cases actual bots?
If you want to do a casual dungeon you just make a group, you donât click group finder. Why should pvp instances be any different? It clearly has negative effects, premade vs pug experience is night and day, itâs not fun to play with cucks that give up as soon as they see 5 people from the same realm in the other team.
Removing solo queue is positive for casuals aswell as you will not be grouped with âghostersâ, bots and leeches.
All casuals that are pugging atm, is never going to join a premade even if they remove solo queue because they would already have joined a premade if thats what they wanted.
Removing solo queue would just stop all solo queuerâs to do those BGâs and most already quit AB and WSGâs because of premades.
It does not mean all solo players leech, but all solo players hate facing premadeâs more than they hate leecherâs because the enemy pug have the same problemâs if they did not face premadeâs, so its a âfairâ matchup.
I dont really care if premade teams have leecherâs or not, my main issue is premadeâs vs pugâs
Solo players do not belong in a team based game. Forcing premades just raises the level of the game by a lot, it means facing another premade is not an issue, but the norm and you are on a far more even playing field. The solo queuers are also the ones enabling botting and leeching.
I donât see what your argument is to be teamed with 9 random people that often have little to no interest in playing as a team/trying to win. You do not make any friends and your effort is often futile, as you clearly know how people give up facing premades or even decent pugs. I think I lost 2 AVs getting exalted.
