Remove the downgrade of keys

When the run is not finishing on time the key mustn’t be downgraded. Keep the level as it is. People leave plenty enough already for all kind of reasons, more than that won’t be a problem for me. If I want to downgrade my own key I’d use the NPC in Oribos.

Yesterday I joined a level 20 Grimrail Depo run. We had 0 deaths good pace and the hunter disconnected. Why he disconnected is not important to me and I don’t care. Why the leader must be punished for someone else behavior. Stop downgrading the keys if the timer is not met!!!

The downsides of that are that it would result in people constantly restarting keys, kicking people and reforming etc.

At present the prevention of kicking is mostly preserved by still leaving that person eligible for loot.

One solution would be restoring S1 weekly loot: If you deplete a 15, you’ll get a 15 in the vault. Same goes for every key. There is an incentive to at least finish the key for a better one next week.

Easy solution: Only downgrade, if it’s not finished. If it gets finished, no downgrade

No, it’s there to not let you progress into content that’s too hard for you. It’s basically their way of saying “this level is too hard, try lower”.

Not really. For pugs, all it does is making me careful with who I invite. Not much more to it. Also no reason to punish premades for being stuck at a key level.
Sorry to break your world, but M+ as an esports comes last. The first priority is M+ as a fun game mode, and being punished for finishing a key with bad players in a pug as a leader is stupid

If you can’t or don’t want to deal with the risks of pugging, don’t pug. Don’t ask for them to destroy the system just because you don’t like the risks of pugging.

Maybe they should just decrease the risk of pugging. And the system would only be screwed for +30 leaderboards. Sorry, don’t care about that. I prefer not getting punished for hosting keys and inviting not optimal specs/ high scores

The content is designed for organized groups. Be happy that you can pug it rather than need to have a full premade.

Also: they could simply just let your key stay at the same level, if you don’t finish, but the dungeon stays the same. All it would do is giving you a 2nd try without wasting 60 min of your life for a pug dc

No, we’ve been through this before. It leads to completely degenerate gameplay.

For you maybe. They shouldn’t design the game around people, who do degenerate stuff and ruin the fun for everyone else. This is beyond stupid

I guess you didn’t try to pug CMs in MoP.

It was a complete clownfiesta with constant resets.

And it’s not like disconnections are limited to PuGs it happens to us all. You can play with friends and still have someone’s internet fail, or a power outtage etc.

Nobody cares what happened to you in mop. M+ key deranking after you finish the dungeon in a pug is stupid timewasting clown gameplay. Just let us be stuck at the key level, and that’s it. If we abandon the key without finishing, it downranks. It would make m+ pugging less toxic.
If people act degenerate, then let them. It’s not my problem, that they treat wow like so weirdly with their fragile egos, that have to optimize everything to the last 0.0001%, so they feel like pro gamers

So stop playing it if you don’t like how the system works. The downranking is there to make sure you’re on a key level that you can actually do.

I disagree with the last part, bc I can do +15 easily, but I agree with the first part. Just not gonna play this trash. True. Have fun in your dying game

So you’re one of those, lmao.

They should remove downgrading keys while any player is disconnected for longer than 5 mins, even when the time was over

There is already NPC which allows me to downgrade all the way down to level 2. Your argument is invalid.

There is litteraly no difference between pugging through the trade or other chanel and the group finder. Both ways allow for pugging. Blizzard can’t do anything to stop it.
