Repeated Error Code: WOW51900319

Was there a hotfix? On WoW or Apple side?

Not on Mac but every single raid night, when ā€œwaitingā€ for everyone to be grouped and start the night, I get randomly disconnected without any reason (that I know of) and get the same error message as here.

It has also happened when coming from heroic ansurek to ulgrax, so might be waiting in the ā€œulgrax roomā€ makes me disconnect, but I doubt it.

Nope. I still get disconnected after latest patch from Blizzard. No updates from Apple either.

Myeah, seems to be almost worse than before.

And in tickets they solely point you to the basic troubleshooting points, your ISP, local PC shop, and this forum.

Fantastic.

Just got my ticket replied. Itā€™s obvious that Blizzard doesnā€™t even read the tickets. I told them Iā€™ve changed my Mac last week (from M2 to M3 Pro) and the suggested that I restart my computerā€¦
Same with network, suggested that I restart my moden/router even thought I told them that Iā€™ve tried on several different networks and even mobile hotspot and still get the same issue.

Iā€™m considering giving upā€¦

It is connected to MacOS 15.0.1 network issues, a lot of people in the dev community and IT security had issues as well. So also apparently the beta 15.1 MacOs Sequoia helped which comes out 28th of October, so lets keep our fingers crossed that a solution will come.

Same issue for months but then on windows.
Iā€™ve tried everything I could find on it. Only VPN option remains but I doubt if it works. Then the story ends for meā€¦ playing this way has become impossible.
So frustrating :frowning:

Iā€™m from win too and have same problem from last update more or less canā€™t play anymore at this moment

I doubt similar issues on Windows have the same cause, as this really seems to be something MacOS 15.0.1 related. Even Secure Shell sessions arenā€™t safe and can terminate prematurely due to ā€˜broken pipeā€™ issues. The MacOS firewall seems to break packages or otherwise closes connections for unknown reasons.

If you have similar issues on Windows, I do suggest looking at it separately:)

On another note: enabling ā€œLow data modeā€ (MacOS network setting) does seem to improve this whole mess a tiny bit.

Hey guys after an extended session of reading and researching I found out the issue lies with 3rd party security filters in MacOs. So if you have a company managed Mac and you have some third party networks filters installed, disable them if you can. In my case it was Sophos Endpoint network filters that I disabled by going to MacOs Settings->General->Login Items & Extensions and scroll to the bottom Network Extensions and click on the info button and disable them. That works guarnateed and tested.

And letā€™s hope that MacOs Sequoia 15.1 fixes this and we will not need to make any kind of adjustments on ours sides.

Hope this helps, cheers.

This seems to have done the trick for me. Wouldnt stick online more than 2-3 minutes before, now ive been on for 30 minutes without issue.
Thanks for the work and for sharing <3

Mhm, just the Network Extensions wasnā€™t doing the trick here.

But after once again trying to purge Crowdstrikeā€™s Falcon (in agreement with my employer), my hate for that piece of ā€¦ software is unfathomable, all the issues have seemingly disappeared.

Nice good to hear! It is definitely then 3rd party security programs. Letā€™s hope MacOS 15.1 fixes this.

I can not thank you enough! This actually fixed WoW for me!

I donā€™t know why, but now Windows Remote Desktop (which I use for work) just freezes up after I did this. Before I got disconnected just like WoW. But now it freezes as soon as I take remote control of the server we use at work. I really hope Apple fixes this before my boss tells us all to give the Macs back and switch to Windows.

Edit: FYI my company uses Cisco Secure Connect

Thank you so much for bringing this up. Iā€™ve been experiencing the same issue since last Friday after updating my MacOS to 15.0.1. Itā€™s been terrible, especially when running Mythic+ keys at level 13 and disconnecting every 20 minutes. Iā€™ve tried everything, but nothing seems to help. Disabling the firewall isnā€™t an option due to corporate policies. I hope a stable solution is found soon.

What exactly should be disabled?

You donā€™t have Network Extensions there, so I am not sure. Maybe someone else has experience or check Networks->Filters and check there and disable the filters. Also try disabling the Kaspersky ones. Endpoint Security Extensions.

Thank you for the solution! It was Microsoft Defender Network Extension for me! All good after switching it off! In addition, this fixed the intermittent Internet connection drops while Wifi was still connected.
