Repentant Eredar RP

So, since the customisations launched I have seen mostly just bad RPers being open demons in SW or the bad guys who can’t get over the fact that their daddy Sargeras has been BTFOed. However I am really atracted by the idea of the actual repentant Eredar in Arzaal’s way and I already made the character, but I have problem with the fact that this is basically a lonely outcast RP and alone it’s not fun to me. Nor the bad guys nor the good guys wants us. So I want to ask if there is already some actual community/guild for the repentant man’ari or if we can make one, I know there is some for the evil ones but as you can guess, I’m not interested. Or a mortal guild which would be willing to give my character a benefit of doubt and work with her after a bit of a RP? Thanks.

Much like dark rangers it’s a self imposed challenge heavily reliant on fellow players having an accomodating attitude. Social game on hard mode. Your fellow warlocks may or may not be understanding and value your expertise as a consultant.

The class is warrior tho, this character isn’t demon, but pretty much conventional warlock.

How a “repentant” Eredar want to, well, Repent?
On Azeroth I mean
:eyes:

Well, the Legion did alot damage to the world like Scourge, Shadow Council, Orcs, Legion leftover pockets she can kill and it’s the home of Draenei, the Legions greatest victims and basically her non corrupted kin she looks up to, also she can’t just fight against entire Argus which still seems to worship Sargeras. Altough the penance is more like not being a problem anymore as she is pretty much irredeemable, basically like Arzaal from questline.

With great difficulty as you’d be basically have no reason to be idle in a settlement that isn’t welcoming of questionable characters. I imagine, without a guild of fellow repenters, a lonely RP experience.

I figured that out, that’s why I’m asking here if there would be any socializing for my character.

Okay, but how?
I mean if a repentant eredar want to “repair” the damage, could smuggle supplies, be a silent batman like protector from the shadows, help the population
If it wants to “fix” the undead and Orc problem thats a dangerous thing, I mean Forsaken and Orcs are Horde, thus it would look like the Alliance is using Demons and worsing the situation - endangering the fragile peace
If it wants to focus on the Scourge (still a problem?) problem, Northrend and lonely or organized compagain against the feral undead
And if it would help against the Old Gods… it would basically accept the truth, Sargeras was right, just the method was wrong
In either cases, I think it would be a very lonely game, with a few other repentant one as company… or players who don’t mind the questionable help

do the exact same thing Draenei do but wearing a disguise

Its not rocket science if you have a small ounce of creativity

This was a joke, friend XD
And ye, in general simply trying to help the make the world better, even if from shadows of hiding.

basically, just doesn’t care much about factions, both of them have Legion’s victims.

You woudl be surprised, but I’m curious about the answer from a repentant Eradar’s player point of view

This is from the PoV of a person who is RPing this concept.

Another thing that people have discovered post-questline completion is that some of the repentant eredar have stayed back in Argus, and are actively spying, and might even be sabotaging the Legion’s homeworld. You can find NPCs stealthed around that are titled ‘Ally of Arzaal’.

It wouldn’t be much of a stretch, and it has lot of possibilities, to be a silent sabotager of the Burning Legion’s myriad of cults and warbands, while keeping in touch with other repentant eredar and people who are willing to, with less or more confidence in you, ally with you.

It’s definitely more of an anti-hero vibe than your usual Alliance stuff, but then again, that might actually be something to look forward to if you roleplay one.

That, and it reminds me of DC’s Spawn. So, yeah. Go for it.

Maybe I should have gone with Rogue then, but a demon would sneak between other demons without disguise anyway I guess (class is warrior), nice idea.

There’s all type of classes being portrayed here, not just rogues! So far, the classes found are warriors, warlocks, and rogues.

Are these NPCs visible on Argus normally? Or only during that questline?

They’re stealthed around and unmarked around Argus after you finish the questline, particularly around hostile zones, stalking the Legion. If you find them, they have a dialogue option that gives you a bundle of Argunite.

Just don’t use a red Eredar skin (as everyone will just metagame that the tail is visible), RP that that you have an illusion and slap on a mask that hides your green/pitch black eye color.

Once you made your mark and integrated yourself into a group that isnt likely to slaughter you the moment you turn out to be a demon, you can reveal your true nature and motivations. Bonus points if you keep your Man’arisms a secret OOC too.
