Hello everyone, as i’ve been playing Classic since release, i’ve come across a lot of botter’s and cheaters. I report them all since they usually break the economy and gameplay of the game.
I’ve come to realize that a lot of other games give you feedback when you report a player for botting, and the verdict resulted in a ban, you get a message saying that ”a player has been banned for botting, thank you for helping our community” or something like that.
This encourages people to actually report the botters now that the players got feedback in form of a tap on the shoulder.
I don’t think it should say that the player is banned but it should say that we have looked at it as the minimum and say we have acted upon it as a maximum that the GDPR can let us know.
At the moment it looks like our reports are being funnelled into a recycle bin, especially in Classic.
Edit: I don’t think they will though as we would get to see Blizzards response times, which I think aren’t the best.
Well yeah, maybe not exactly what type of action taken. But some feedback to us players to keep us encouraged to keep reporting. How Will i know anything happened to the person i reported as of now…
