Reporting a player deletes your chat log

Does anyone else experience this issue? When they right click a player name in chat, and report it - it deletes a ton of stuff from the chat? From all chat channels and messages…

I’ve reported several players and it deletes the past like ten minutes of conversations and info messages

As far as i can remember it deletes all entries where the reported person appears.

Have same issue. But as I saw it delete messages for random time and in all chats.
As example: I have few chat tabs - general, private/guild, lfg. I report ppl who spam 3+ messages on lfg-channel, but messages disappear at all tabs.
After report your last messages in log is that you saw 5-10 min ago… And if you report somebody again after 5-10 min system will remove all new messages that was made after previous removing.
It’s slightly annoying.

For me it remove all messages from all sources (channels, system, loot, etc).

Wrong. It deletes the last X amount of messages regardless if it’s from the reported person/his name is mentioned/whatever.
It removes everyone.
And it’s stupid.
Also if you report too many of those goldspammers in a row you get disconnected as a ‘thank you for doing our GM’s job’.

That seems a big fat bug to me. I could be remembering wrong but all it should be doing is delete the reported persons messages.

When if first happened to me, I thought I reported the wrong person (guild mate to whom I was chatting at the time).

The bug exists, it removes ALL chat (guild, /1, /2, etc.) and needs to be fixed.
