You need to do some research it seems, Look at my post history, I got a ticket response from a gm telling me I should multibox if I want and not worry about people reporting like yourself, As I’m not doing anything wrong. There is also gms linking to articles saying multiboxing is still allowed. It’s not hard to find this you know? Perhaps if you stopped gloating about false information you would know this by now.

I just logged off multibox leveling without any programs, Here I am saying it on the forums and making tickets about it. It’s allowed.
u can have 1 do the killing and have 24 on autofollow and u get 25 level 60s on the first day on SL . get all classes 60 on first day 
even more fun if u get realms first on every class doing so …

To many people reading click bait titles like this one and streamers/youtubers click bait titles. I knew it would happen.
Blizzard even made a statement saying it was more aimed at people botting, As isboxer etc was being used by bots, They wheren’t even trying to stop multiboxing. It just multiboxers have been effected by people botting herbs all day, They just so happened to make use of the same programs.
It’s on wowhead.

How many times do I need to tell you, that I play 3 characters for the last 5 years without software? I’m still multiboxing. Before you start going on a trolling party across the forums at least try educate yourself on the subject. A gm wrote to me when I was doing it. Go read my above post.
Putting your fingers in your ears and pretending something is true doesn’t make it so.

Until then you can get it out of your head that it’s banned. It’s not. You will enjoy reading the wowhead post saying they are fine with multiboxers and they did it because of bots.
People who use 3rd party programs still will get picked up by warden and banned automaticly. So no need for your little crusade.

You know wowhead are affiliated with Blizzard? and support and Blizzard send you there? They have community blues on there that make announcements. That’s like saying you can’t take any announcement from Blizzard on Twitter serious. It was a Blizzard statement. Really clutching at straws.

Blizzard staff even have blue text when they make announcements on there.

Yes but apprently it doesn’t count as it wasn’t on this website… Even though we constantly get told to go there and Twitter. Funny that.
Apprently an article on this website clearly stating multiboxing is allowed, isn’t enough either. Might as well slam our heads against the wall.
I hope the way you enjoy the game is ruined for the sake of protecting people from bots while not actually doing anything to stop them.

While multiboxing -understood as owning/using more than one account- is allowed at the same time multiboxing -understood as playing more than one acc using 3rd party software- is not allowed. So depending on the context a statement that multiboxing is not allowed can be actually true.
People keep failing to understand that the term multiboxing is used to describe more than one thing.
The purpose of multiboxing is also different for many people. Multiboxing itself is not illegal, but my use for it: running dungeons without having to rely on other people or spamming LFG chat hours to form a group isn’t possible without the software. Also the sofware didnt’ do all the work for me it just made it so I didn’t have to alt tab and hit a key. It only took out the action of alt tabbing. I still hit a key to do one action on one character.

And intent matters, if said person reported someone and it turned out to be false but his intentions were good.
