i have 5 of I9 10900 what i can controll all 5 with 1 mouse and 1 keyboard …
Buuuhuuuu ISboxer got banned who care never used it anyway …
All you will get for your efforts OP is a warning for false reporting. Multiboxing isn’t banned. A blue has confirmed it on wowhead. It also states on an article that was updated less than 10 hours ago.
yes i linked it here 10 mins ago …
Mboxing allowed.
Action mirror programs not (as stated onward).
So probably many mboxers will quit.
I mean, i think what people here/in game are usually against, are multiboxer that control all their toons simultaneously.
Let’s not pretend people are angry and gonna report a guy with another account in /follow, that is not the problem.
Trust me they will, There is people who keep saying “multiboxing is banned” it’s not, It makes people think its a blanket ban. The OP clearly thinks this. You can tell.
“report all multiboxers” all?
… and in turn get actioned against yourself for sending in false reports
While we encourage you to report players that are behaving in a disrespectful manner, falsely reporting another player with the sole intent of restricting their gameplay is also unacceptable, and will result in penalties to your account.
Thank you blizzard I love you
Lol lol lol look who is my new friend
That is simply a misconception from Op.
When people moan/cry about multiboxer, they are usually talking about people using software to control an army.
I doubt someone ever moaned about a person with other accounts in /follow, and doubt op was talking about those.
Like, let’s be honest, when someone talk about multiboxer in WoW you imagine a random guy with couple of accounts in /follow or those actual armies you see around usually?
Of course they should not report the /follow guy.
I gone for this holy crusade ! Ban them all Gorgond here I come !
Name one please , all of them using this
me.
I play 3 characters with 2 on follow. To do world quests , level and transmorg farm.
I’ve never ever used 3rd party programs, even when they where allowed.
When we can start the purification Process ? Who can tell us when ?
I already started why to wait just raise and repeat. I hope they will ban next all boost sellers.
To the people who say you’d get banned in turn for false report, how about no.
When a player sees a multiboxer with all chars undertaking near simultaneous actions, they have no way if knowing whether keystroke software is being used, or hardware upon a glance.
Thus their report is legit, it’s raising a concern. Blizz will investigate. If player using hardware, they can have their account marked like old MBers were which means if they’re reported again, mods know the case is fine, no issue. Whereas if the multiboxer in question is using keystroke software, they’ll be found out.
All scaremongering people with “false report ban” does is give those genuinely abusing the new rules a free ride.
Blizzard do not ban people for making mistakes in reports. They do if you’re purposefully being deceitful or malicious with your reporting. Raising a concern about a MBer and being wrong isn’t that. Only if the person keeps reporting the same individual for the same reason, despite their mistake being revealed would I say it qualifies would I then say it’s false reporting.
yeah hes yelling out here on forums that he will false report them
false reporting cursing harm to multiboing is greafing/harment whats agaist TOS aswell.
"As World of Warcraft has evolved, our policies have also evolved to support the health of the game and the needs of the players. We’ve examined the use of third-party input broadcasting software, which allows a single keystroke or action to be automatically mirrored to multiple game clients, and we’ve seen an increasingly negative impact to the game as this software is used to support botting and automated gameplay. The use of input broadcasting software that mirrors keystrokes to multiple WoW game clients will soon be considered an actionable offense. We believe this policy is in the best interests of the game and the community.
We will soon begin issuing warnings to all players who are detected using input broadcasting software to mirror commands to multiple accounts at the same time (often used for multi-boxing). With these warnings, we intend to notify players that they should not use this software while playing World of Warcraft. Soon thereafter, the warnings will escalate to account actions, which can include suspension and, if necessary, permanent closure of the player’s World of Warcraft account(s). We strongly advise you to cease using this type of software immediately to maintain uninterrupted access to World of Warcraft.
Thank you for your understanding."
Good luck with avoiding ban gamer in future. They can ban you for programs or mechanical process copying action
what happend to them what mass false reported inesent peoples in classic ? they got banned …
yeah, but with all due respect, how is the average joe supposed to know who uses software and who isnt? they cant distinguish between it.
I think that’s a reach.
OP is clearly not being massively pedantic with language. He’s using the term multiboxer generally. As has been spelled out, multiboxng is not bannable, certain accompaniments are.
Not once that was cleared up, nowhere did OP say “I’ll do it anyway I don’t care”. So I think saying he’s intending to target innocent MBers purposefully is a bit of a reach.
And as I said, at a glance nobody can tell if you’re a foul or fair play MBer. So no, him reporting you if you use hardware is not him “going after you”. He has no way of knowing how you’re multiboxing. It makes sense in this situation to report.
If you’re not breaking rules, no action will be taken against you and you can do as Anna (prolific MB poster here) did, ask blizz to mark your account so they know you’re a legit MBer. After Anna did that I believe she wasn’t bothered by GMs contacting her due to reports ever again except for maybe a couple of times.
