It’s a wild west of reporting now, either you
A) Manage to report someone using a program and they get action against them
or what will happen a lot
B) You report someone you think is using software and is just someone alt-tabbing and you’ll get suspended yourself most likely for false mass resporting
No one that is alt tabbing can simultaniously press starfire with 5 chars for a longer period of time.

i dont think this will happen. they explicitly say “with the sole intent to restrict someones gameplay”. when i report someone who thinks is breaking the rules i am not reporting someone for willy nilly reasons to get them banned.

I’m saying a lot of people are going to report multiboxers only to find some of them use alt-tabbing and when you report 5-10-15 doesn’t matter what number of false reports you’ll be struck with some action.
The problem we’ll run into is that blizzard are the ones looking over the reports and they are the one doing the judgement call, since they can’t see what you were thinking when you reported someone they just have the reason to go by.
And I don’t trust blizz to be smart enough
guess we have to wait and see what happens.

A false report is a purposefully false report. What don’t people get.
Lets say you report an enemy player and you go “I think they were a velf” and it turns out they were actually a nelf. Blizzard aren’t going to ban you because you got the details wrong hahaha.
Now if I intentionally report someone for something I know they haven’t done, that’s false reporting. At a glance a player doesn’t know whether you’re guilty of using keystroke so they cant intentionally falsely report you, because if they could they’d have to know that you aren’t using it. Which they can’t

Then I will tell you a secret. In the 7 years, that I’ve been playing on the official server, I’ve never seen a multiboxer that would be using the alt tab method. However I’ve seen hundreds if not thousands that used programs.

I reported so many already. So many! I reported pretty much every character just in case.
Also no one had issues with players having multiple accounts and clients open and alt tabbing between them or whatever. When people have talked about multiboxing it’s pretty much always refering to the guys using outside software.
See that’s funny cause when I was farming AP during BoD on 2 characters I alt tabbed to get all my WQs done without having to take more time running it a second time

Well I haven’t seen ya doing that. I wouldn’t even suspect you, 2 people does not wake my suspicion if we are talking about multiboxers. However the thousands of druids does.

I have no idea by the means Anna did it, I think it was through interactions with a GM acting a report.
You misunderstood him/her. He/she is convinced that you pretend in the forums that you only have 2 toons, while you are a filthy 8 druid multiboxer.
I suspect the same.
