So let me get this straight, because i dont remember how it originally was.
People with honored standing will be able to buy full set blue pvp-gear for around 80g?
While i’ve been spending countless hours of grinding both honor and BG marks for the exactly same gear?
While we’re at it, couldn’t you add a Karazhan vendor so i can buy Karazhan gear for gold?
New raids are coming out so people will get that gear anyway. It’s the same thing.
Seems a bit unfair for me as a very casual pvper who basically was just starting to gear up a bit albeit bad blue pvp gear but thats what we casuals have to live with.

I think they said it’ll require reveared until sunwell patch but you are basically correct. However people that did grind the honor gear were able to use it in season 1 while this will only be available from season 2 on.
Having this gear should be great for casuals since it allows them to get into arena easier?
Its on the PTR now. You need revered to buy it. Its like 80g for full set yes.
How is the gear for hybrid classes? Is it for 1 spec only?

This is good change, don’t cry over it. I grinded pretty much all the gear I needed as horde in first two and a half weeks of TBCC (I was precapped tho, but did not precap when honor gains were bugged sadly) by playing insane amount of hours. Having that gear so early was already a big plus, it’s another story I got burned out and didn’t play consistently though.
Should I cry over this? Definitely not as it helps everyone in the long run.
This was in the original game but at a later moment, acting as catch up mechanics and for ppl playing their alts.
So the rep req is revered then? Guess I won’t bother lvling that alt then. PvP/Arena in TBCC has just been one big massive letdown from the get go. How they managed to mess this up so bad is beyond belief.
You can buy every spec. Every of the 5 vendors (Keepers of time / Honor hold / lower city / sha’tar / cenarion) has 3 pieces of gear if you are a druid. It’s one of each spec.
now those of us who spent the past month gearing up in pvp by making use of the instant queues just need to put on the red nose and go honk honk to show how absolutely hard we’ve been ****ed.
this better not include the epic off-piece gear (Neck, Cloak, Boots, Belt, Bracers) or i’m gonna feel really damn stupid for not simply waiting rather than waste my time and effort doing bgs.
So you don’t want balanced PvP you want to be OP with the gear you have and farm new players that have 0 Resiliance?
We had the information of that gear coming with Phase 2 since they said TBC is coming you could have waited and yet you didn’t.

I don’t think people want fair game in general, they just want to win. That is why so many people rolled horde, or more recently you see so many resto druids in battlegrounds these days.

It was known info that rep pvp gear is coming sooner or later so I dont get why ppl are crying now.
If you didnt know well its your problem that you didnt check it ealier.
Its only 5set not a full pvp gear so stop crying. You can (have to) still farm offet pieces for honor. Same with weapons and trinkets.

That is literally how MMOs work tho. You sepend inordinate amount of time / currency to have stuff early, or much less to have it later. I know for a fact that spellcloth sold for 430 gold on day 2 of TBC, while you can buy it now for 43g and going down. Blue PvP gear cost a lot of honor initially and will be available for rep and a handful of gold later. Arena gear is only available with certain ranking initially, but simply for honor later. That is perfectly fine and how it is supposed to be.
imagine crying people can catch up a starter blue set months later
if you already farmed it now you will be s1 geared when they can buy it for gold ?
Only chest, legs, shoulders, head and gloves.
You still need to buy all the offset etc. from honor.
Stop crying and play the game.
