This thread must b a troll. You cant be THAT entitled naturally. Crying human basic rights about loot rolling in a game is a huge disrespect to actually human basic rights and people rly needing it.

I think your argument is flawed. This is what you’re saying: Because I’m not forced to accept X, then X is fine.
What’s at discussion here is not if we’re forced to accept a thing, but the nature of the thing itself.
Reserving items is just the optimized way to make groups, and everyone benefit from it.
If you need something that is already reserved join another group and res that item for yourself.
You’ll see that everybody (including you) waste much less time this way.
Sure it’s easier if you play tank/healer but that’s how it is.
Sure extremes cases like reserving all orbs is a bit laughable, but I don’t think these groups are much in demand anyway.

So if I’m a healer, and as soon as I get my reserved item, I don’t group again, when do the rest of the players get their items?
But that’s not the issue as I see it with reserves (in dungeons). The issue is that the cost (having to spam the LFG) vs the benefit (guaranteed gear drop) ratio is so absurd, that I think it qualifies as abusive behavior.
Am I the only one who thought “self entitled casual” after reading this ?

They don’t and you have saved yourself some time, but as a side effect you are now blacklisted from ever joining their group again.
Unless, it was agreed upon forming the group that you’ll leave as soon as you get your loot, which I doubt.
The cost of spamming LFG is exactly zero.

i am in game 16 hours clearing mc under 1 hour and 30 min every reset and you posting with a clownfiesta profile instead of classic one, lets see who is the casual here.
What I talked about is the general population in this game right now, seems you are a bit too dummy to understand.
This is not reserving. This is a group agreeing to farm an instance until everyone gets its loot, which is fine.
People who reserve items are bad players, and should be avoided.

Bruh its not that you aint on my level, you aint even on the level below me. Go achieve something then come here to talk philosophical conversations. You are butt hurted cause ppl who actually have minimum amount of time reserve their items so their in game investment has fruitful meaning to them or because you cant even create your own group and do the same? And by any chance you dont like reserving why do you even care to comment on something that doesnt affect you ? Cause clearly you seem to be bitter…

i got my 0/30/21 specc to play resto at raids, everyone knows druids are better than warriors in 5man (i never said raids) cause we do more dmg. Unless u run parties with serious undergeared people =)

Already been discussed to death but there’s no problems with it as long as it’s announced in recruitment messages.
If someone doesn’t like that an item is reserved, they can avoid joining the group. Similarly, if someone wants to reserve items, it means they are willing to spend a lot more time recruiting.
What I find ridiculous are those who reserve the only real reason to join that group - the amount of “Jed/Rend farm | Briar & DR swords reserved” messages I see is absurd … but I guess the reason I see so many is because they can’t find players

No, I’m talking about reserving items, but you answered about leaving a group in the middle of a dungeon which was 100% off topic but I rolled with it to give you the chance to explain your point, that’s then you just stopped making any sense.

Don’t you also worry about level 20 players that won’t get their items because you’re not here to heal theirs DM runs anymore ?
