in “true classic” the players were bound to an instance for idk 30 minutes, after 30 minutes the instance reset’ed. if the players were 45 minutes in a instance and wiped, the instance were reset’ed and the players must do the whole instance again.
More dedicated players who played vanilla, created / became aware of the ability to reset dungeons through macro’s long before blizzard added the button to the user interface.
/script ResetInstances();
Pretty sure reset instances was in vanilla.
True, and it was only after it became widespread/known they added the limits of 5 resets/hour iirc (since mages were already farming SM gy like crazy, this stuff happened back then as well)
Could be remembering wrong, but pretty sure it went like this.
Wasn’t the max 5 instances per hour introduced in vanilla because people (and gold sellers) were abusing chests in DM west to farm a certain book?
Was always there.
/script ResetInstances();
is how it was done without ui addons
its still like this here we completed like 5 or 6 runs in 30 mins with Arena BRD we couldint reset
You could back in vanilla recreate your party to reset the instance
