Reset Gold On TBC (or put a cap)

Well there won’t be a limit on gold, so that’s fine. I am just trying to grasp why one would ask for it. All I got from you is a vague desire to decrease the overall amount of gold in the circulation. And I don’t see how that will be very helpful to anyone. Apart from maybe daily quest grind being less rewarding if the gold earned won’t even buy you a set of raid consumes. I guess that would be a decent argument for limiting amount of gold in the economy, but again, you can’t do that by punishing legit players.

Edit: And yes I am mad. I just spent 4 hours of my day slaving away in DME for a measly 350g. I would like to gather enough by the TBC launch to buy my epic flying right away to avoid all the wpvp griefers. The idea of someone advocating for me to lose that gold for some nebulous “greater good” drives me into a rage.

We already have a gold cap in Classic when we transfer to another realm, 2k gold and whatever we have in the bank and inventory per character.
This limit is there for a reason.

The same reason is probably to apply for TBC too. Now the cap can be 5k or 10k idk something realistic for a legit player.

Now I’m very confused about your statement. You say that you farm hours for some gold but you don’t want a cap so VISA players can have all that for candy money.

Trust me man, if we won’t have a cap at the start of TBC all your hard earned gold will be worth 10$ that I will gladly pay to be honest.

Even now I cringe a bit while I’m farming like you in DME to feed my alts but believe you me if there won’t be a gold cap I’ll turn to the dark side in TBC.

Maybe I’m a bit slow. But isn’t there already a limit to how much gold you can actually have?

I’m with you in that if I lose so much as one gold piece to some arbitrary transfer limit (without me actively choosing to transefer my char to TBC realm and agreeing to all the rules beforehand) I will just buy the gold back thousand fold. I’m old enough now for it to be pocket change for me.

Around 200k…ek

The only way I will even consider playing TBC is on a completely fresh server, or preferably a fresh server with some sort of level boost to 60 or at least faster XP gains. If people want to continue on their server with their cbaracters and gold, no problem, that should be an option too. But there should be a fresh server option for people like me, that didn’t goldfarm in Classic or want to play a Draenai Shaman and not be severely handicapped or just want an even playing field.

Classic ended up having a billion different servers so it’s not like Blizz is shy about spreading the community across different realms, why not give people options while they’re at it. Make a fresh PvE server, fresh PvP server, fresh RP-PvP and RP-PvE servers, then the same four types with character copy from Classic realms enabled. Even if you then double or triple that number of servers for good measure, it will still be less realms than Classic had.

This is a nonsense discussion with makeshift arguments…

Established players in ‘‘VIP’’ guilds (not using a certain vicious term here) with tons of gold and items will say: ‘‘no fresh servers, all progress into TBC !!! (because I don’t want to lose my virtual pixel admirers, it’s all what keeps me alive)’’

New players will say: ‘‘fresh servers plz, I don’t want to start where everything is already established and most people can buy their way from start to end’’

This same thing has been the case 15 years ago, human mentality does not change.

Reset, limit or not, who cares. It really doesn’t matter. In 2-3 months every server will be the same fiesta because of Actiblizzion’s 0 cent investment policy.

I will only consider playing TBC is on a completely fresh server for 2-3 months until a certain bot-invasion. This is enough for me while waiting release of some other mmorpg.

That’s what the forum is you inbred imbecile. How about YOU keep your opinions to yourself. You literally don’t have to respond. Did you buy your gold and that’s why you’re so salty?

Well if you wanted to entice blizzard to put a cap then you just did that. The self-own is big :D:D

So what you are saying is that YOU are part of the problem and you should get banned. Got it

Never bought a single copper in my life. And yes, all bots, gold sellers and buyers should be permanently banned. But they arent.
And if Blizzard deletes my gold, there is no guarantee anymore what goes next. Profession? Item? Entire character? The whole trust is gone. The entire point of why I pay a sub is gone.
But you’re right, I probably still wouldn’t buy gold, because i’d be so disgusted with the game and Blizz, I’d just quit on the spot. No point investin my time or my money. Might as well go to a funserver where they actually ban bots. I bet an actual good tbc one will show up in the wake of TBC Classic.
