What a chance to resist a binary spell, like… mage nova, with 235 frost resist?
(lvl 60 vs lvl 60) only % , don’t need links.
Don’t have the numbers but it definitely helps if you got alot of it even if you don’t fully resist a good chunk of damage can be resisted saw some warlock PvP videos with high resistance gear one point he fully resisted like 6 frost bolts in a row absolutely insane

the avg dmg reduction formula is resist/(5 * target level) * 0.75
235/(560) 0.75 = 0.5875 although this is just damage reduction the binary spells should have the same if resistance is balanced for binary and non binary spells.
