My condolences to his family. Strength and courage to his family and friends.
Rest in peace
That was indeed a classic - as were the badgers, wasps and my personal favourite - the wig in the urinal
I never heard those
I could tell you but I could never in a million years do it justiceā¦
might want to add the vulture Black Frank. loved that story as well
Is there any way of gathering all these wonderful stories up? I miss Brigante and his awesome posts. I thought we would have more time with this erudite and humorous gentleman.
I hope your Summerlands are all you could have wanted Brig. Hail and Farewell.
Peace.

We may have disagreed a lot, we may have had some battles on the forums, but I always respected Brigante as a person. Wish I knew about his condition sooner to message him. A shame, a terrible loss, may he rest in peaceā¦
I did disagree a lot with him, and sometimes I usually did agree, and he made good points whenever I said dumb stuff about Blood Elfs, because I didnāt want more Blood Elf stuff to the game, I remember that, never said anything bad, but truly this makes me sad, I always read what he said, active person, huge loss, will miss himā¦2022 havenāt been nice
Quoting as a bump
Iām still not sure if Iām worthy of posting in this thread.
I read all the posts from the moment this thread was created.
Some of the earlier posts wanted stories about him.
My story is nothing compared to all of you that actually knew him and interracted with him.
But Iām gonna share anyways, if nothing else, Iām doing it for me.
Just feels like the right thing to do
I didnāt know about his condition until circa 2 months ago.
I felt sad for him.
But then he kept being the same positive and outgoing dude and seemed to accept his outcome.
Remarkable and admirable.
Comparable or not, Iāve lost too many family members and friends to cancer.
So on some level I could feel it.
When I heard of his passing I got unexpectedly sad IRL.
I only knew his forum persona.
Wall of text posts, way with words and his char profile always had amazing hair.
He never replied with hate.
He did reply to me a few times, I honestly felt both scared and special.
He seemed like a very intelligent and passionate person with his own style of humour.
A few weeks ago/1+ month(?) some user here tried to get Brigante to simplify his replies.
That little debate was hilarious. And also made me appreciate Brigante more.
While I donāt have a way with words like Brigante, it seems I created a little wall of text of my own. (sorry about that)
Oh and Brigante didnāt like cheese on pizza. If I remember correctly, he didnāt like cheese at all That detail is hard to forget.
I will miss his wall of texts.
Hope you are in a better place
Peace
Edit: Ment to say He didnāt like cheese at all, not pizza
Why, what was it about? Iāve yet to hear a lot of stories, and this looks interesting.
Not that I can ever do it justice, so in summary pink was originally a masculine colour, it is from sword duels where a wound meant the blood bled into a white shirt and it turned pink.
Todayās youngster girls definitely didnāt get their pink clothes and makeup that way.
To that end, this stigma could be lifted.
āWhy is half your clothing pink?ā
āOh, just a flesh wound from a duel.ā
āDamn, arenāt you a strong and agile one?ā
Oh and Brigante didnāt like cheese on pizza. If I remember correctly, he didnāt like pizza at all
Spesifically it was cheese he disliked. Which in turn meant most pizza too. We sometimes teased him with .gifs of food with melted or melting cheese on it. Which of course didnāt upset him at all, he took it in stride, as he did most things.
Now that you mention it, I did actually post a extra cheesy food gif to him once
Not that I can ever do it justice, so in summary pink was originally a masculine colour, it is from sword duels where a wound meant the blood bled into a white shirt and it turned pink.
We did learn about this in school, you would be surprised how few people know about this.
Blue= feminine
Pink = masculine
Apparently they switched it around the 50s to combat that old gender stereotype, but ended up backfiring when men are made fun of for wearing pink.
Interesting history.
Oh and Brigante didnāt like cheese on pizza.
His favourite was bbq sauce instead of tomato, loaded with various meat varieties- oh, and no cheese, he hated the stuff
Iām one of the āolderā generation but even I remember the conversations about āmen canāt wear pinkā.
Actually it was more about āreal men ā¦ā
Then history taught me that pink was actually a male colour. As Brigante subsequently explained in detail.
Rest in peace Brigant
Iām missing you already.
Rings a bell.
Your chili con carne(?) pizza inspired me a little bit.
But if it wasnt you, my bad. I recognize most of the regulars but canāt seem to keep track of you all
its for brigate i lknow she liked this movie
