Rest in Peace, Brigante

My first MMORPG was Ultima Online.

For many of us at the time, that was also the first time we chatted with other people online.
Troll fiesta 24/7. But it was fun and not mean spirited.

Also, if you gotten a like from a Worgen called Sauceboss, forgive me.

I get easily bored.

I remember one forum i was a regular member of, JustRamit,co,uk, now sadly defunct.

The guy who set it up, Summer of George was so very much like brigante and like brigante we would have so many long winded drawn out discussions about anything and everything. I remember playing his brother online on Street fighter 2 HF on the box 360, and I fondly remember his last post on the thread, "Look man… I love you as a brother in law… but ya know, I watched all your fights against Babs (that was my name, it was Barbara Conker shortened to babs) and my money is on Babs.

Another sadly missed very good friend was Ms Scarlett, her real name Guida Rufino. When we all heard about her death and how it happened we were all completely shellshocked and our facebook page still has her profile avatar as it’s main pic.

If you type Guida Rufino into google it will direct you to her. She was a great lass.

I said i was sorry what more do u want?

Rest in peace, pretty sure i saw him multiple times in game and from what i can tell, he was nice guy. Wish i could take his stead and bring him back because i would, but the world is trash and unfair sometimes and we have deal with it. Thoughts and prayers for this guy, his friends and family. May his memory be another reason for me to never give up on wow, no matter the circumstance

Good morning to you all,

As De’vontae has kindly already left a reminder for the memorial today, I will just add some extra details.

We will be streaming the memorial, links will be dropped here this afternoon. If you are unable to attend in-game, but would like to have something said on your behalf, please leave a post here so I or Dev can read it out for you.

With great efforts from Baaen of Oath of Silver, I have many many many MANY stacks of fireworks. If you would like some, please make sure to approach me for some.

Finally, I would appreciate efforts from all to help bring some of our off-worlders onto AD for the memorial. However if you do not have any friends on our server, please add Dani#24177 on bnet so I can bring you over. Please understand I will be deleting people from my list after the memorial is over. This is not a comment on you, I just prefer to keep my PMs private.

Thank you, see you all tonight to give our friend the send off he deserves.

I can help bringing people over to AD, both on Alliance and Horde side (at the same time too, if need be).

I will probably be unable to attend the event in time, but I’d like to leave a few words here for Brigante:

Brig, I didn’t expect you to leave us so soon. I remember reading your posts about your health issues several months ago, and I remember you saying you were given around 3 more years to leave. Well your time came much sooner than we all expected mate, and I was really sad to find out a few days ago that you had already left us.

Me and you, we were on the opposite sides of the WoW conflict. I am Alliance at heart, and you were a devoted Blood elf and High elf fan. Our opinions sometimes clashed given our sides, but I soon came to realise that you were a very logical, reasonable man. Passionate for your favourite race just as I was for mine, fighting to see the glory that should have already been there for Blood/High elves. You clarified that you too wished for Void elves to get natural hair colours as I advocated for, but you were adamant that Blood elves should get Farstrider tattoos / feathers first, scars, etc. And I supported this and said we should both get our well-deserved customizations at the same time, so both of our sides can be happy, and you agreed with me. I understand how frustrated you were that Blood elves were shafted with customization that didn’t make a big impact. Despite our opposing allegiances, we could find common ground together and have a nice conversation.

I know you really really wanted Gnolls to be added as an Allied race in the game, and were working on a thread on that. I’m not sure if you ended up finishing it and posting it on here, but I had promised I would support such a thread if you did.

I wish you were still here. Rest in peace, Brig, and may your journey be a smooth one.
