His posts were long, but they spoke the truth. Especially those of the lore. He had done his research and he would tell the story as it was - whether his favorite race/s or character/s were in the wrong.
Personally didn’t know him but saw him a few times ingame.
Only heard good things about him and he will be missed
Condolences to his family and friends <3
he was one of the most recognisable members here, I tried to get in his conversations as it was full of wisdom and historical facts which I’m interested in. As a foreigner, it was hard to catch up his every thought but I tried to. I will miss you
My sincere condolences, may he rest in peace.
The desert fox… I will miss him greatly…
rest in peace man, only rp’d with the guy on an alt once but it was enjoyable
The man was one of the legends of AD, everyone knew him or knew of him in some way.
The server is a little bit darker without him.
Rest in peace Brigante. Never got to know you properly, and will forever regret that. A big blow to the AD RP community.
I never really interacted with him but I always saw him around and it was great seeing someone champion belf rp for so long.
Brigante has been a constant for years and years with Argent Dawn, having been around in some form or other.
RIP Brigs, all my condolences to his family and those that knew him better than I.
Sincere condoleances, never interacted with the person, but it was quite the name in the community. RIP.
I remember doing some crazy RP with him in 2018 He was an interesting guy for sure. Thank you for the memories Brigante ;-;
Brigante was a person you would always feel like you are walking with giants when being in his presence. He was someone who was so passionate it would light a fire under you to be encapsulated in his stories, his world and his views and believe him in his roleplay. Out of character he was not a well man and I’ve only ever had the pleasure to have known him during his time of being ill, though I knew of him before. He was always a kind person, he had that British self deprecating charm and was a lot like the character he had created. I know that he wanted to be remembered, he shared openly the struggles of his medical life with some of us and I was one and it wasn’t done for pity. He always seemed feverish like he knew and had made peace with his time being short but wanted to make sure he would achieve a lot in that time.
I wish we had the time to have done the storyline we spoke of with him, to fly the skies at his side again. That isn’t the case, but I know that like the Red Baron he idolised and created in the game, he will be conquering the skies for us.
Brigante rose up and conquered the skies, the winds now calling his name, he’s left a legacy and that is his battle won, because he’ll never be forgotten.
My deep condolences to everyone close to Brigante. He was a distinct figure in the community for sure. We never talked too much one-on-one, but he was always kind towards me.
I’ll just share here an orcish voice-over he benevolently did for me in 2019, it was the last time we had a chat. He seemed very passionate about that kind of work.
Rest in peace, wing commander of war and story.
Very sad news. Brigante was definitely a unique figure to have around.
Condolences to his friends and family.
Rest in peace, Dudge.
Thankful that I got years of memories to look back on.
Oh man, I remember this one.
My deepest condolences to the family and friends. Still remember, when the man was cheerfully going on about Silvermoon, doing random stuff he usually did. And his endless rants at communists on the forums - god the joy to read them and engage in a debate with the man was something truly amazing and experience I will never forget.
Rest in peace, flyer.
Only ever interacted with Brigante across the fence so to speak, but man this hit hard. Over all the 2015-2019 rppvp campaigns he always seemed the sort that just loved to RP. Condolences to his friends and family
Rest in Peace, Brignate, though we only RPed once or twice. You made it fun RPing a Blood Elf for the short time I did. Thank you, you’ll never be forgotten by any of us or AD.
Condolences to his family and friends,
Take to the skies wing-commander.
