when he told us that the doctors said he had only about three years to live, i think it was more a comfort to me than to him… and then when he started counting every now and again how much he had left, you d think that two years, two and a half years would be enough time but it never is.
when it happens, you re seldom ready, although you saw it coming.
i ll miss when he popped on discord in the odd hours of the night when you thought you were all alone as everyone was asleep, talking for hours about the most random stuff. i ll miss his stories and his banter. its comforting to know that he lived life to the fullest although cut way too short.
fare well Dudge, i ll miss you. im sure Bwonsamdi and you will make one hell of a duo.
He be holding a special place for you among his Anansi boys, teller of tales extraordinaire. And you deserve it. No one can fake a great personality and therefore your passing is a big loss to this world.
